That is because they are OFF offshoots; they believe they can solve anything by throwing money at the problem. Most notoriously, Annalena Charlotte Alma Baerbock said that they will have "social programs" for people that cannot afford the higher energy cost.... For frakk sake; the unsolvable part of problem is not the cost but the lack of availability. That sad moron believes that they can print... energy.

Perhaps ? ? ? People will FINALLY begin to understand they DO have power ! ? Prior to Covid we were already developing such a victim mentality in regards to so many issues, now, post covid, it seems the entire country has just adopted the victim mentality and the pathos of hopelessness just seems to hang in the air everywhere, along with apathy. Is this also part of a "plan" ? Hate to get into all the "conspiracy" thinking as that too is now demonized and held up to marginalize people. It's very frightening to see total shifts in mass "thinking" !

As I pointed out, the thoughts, opinions, and possible goals of all this, as set forth by Malone and many many others, have been labeled "conspiracy" theories, and Malone and others have been marginalized, "cancelled", and even retaliated against for setting forth their ideas, something that once was encouraged in our society and especially in professional settings like university departments of research. Now... ? ? ? Straight out of the playbook by Alinsky; isolate, marginalize, eradicate, etc. etc. ! Have you tried to purchase (or find in any library) a copy of Camp of the Saints by Raspail since we adopted our "open border" policy ? Nearly disappeared, an immensely engrossing "science fiction" novel in he tradition of On the Beach, Soylent Green, etc. Raspail's engaging classic novel of the possible ultimate outcome of "open borders", will run you around $1,800 IF you can find a copy ! Has been smeared as "racist", and it's a science FICTION NOVEL. Too bad, it's a very good read, as are his other books like Who Will Speak for the People, and others.

The main reason decentralization of power is better is it limits abuses. It's easier to escape a local tyranny to a neighboring district that doesn't impose it.

Yes, exactly. And how many people STOP and think, just what is a "big shot", who makes them "big", why do so many accept this and put such people on pedestals when they are so clearly lacking in not only skills and intellect, but morals, ethics, etc. etc. Yet, they are the very ones we flock to. I've seen multiple examples of people in depressed areas allowing the LEAST capable among them to be their representatives, to be led by people considerably less ethical, insincere, and so on. Just look at the number of people now who have been shown to have personally benefited monetarily from the coffers of organizations such as BLM and so many others. People give MORE consideration to purchasing a new CELL PHONE than they do to who is going to RULE OVER THEIR LIFE ! Go figure ?

Random thoughts evoked:

Look at all those rictus grins surrounding him. Do any of them reach the eyes?

As for cold winter, well, you get what you vote for. Unfortunately, you also get what a lot of idiots vote for. Remember that half the constituency have IQ scores below 100 for starters, and that the majority of humans are emotional herd/pack animals prone to believe what their fellow apes closest around them believes, meaning that unrestricted democracy will always devolve towards pandering to the 2/3s most easily frightened into hysterics, greed, envy and jealousy, rather than the minority with the knowledge, integrity and moral fortitude necessary to make democracy a viable option long-time (remember: when it comes to using democracy to select rulers, it is just a baby with lots of teething problems).

Up here in the north (very tempting to play the old "where we get real winter"-card but having experienced winter in Berlin in a BZ squat way back when I'll refrain from doing so) the situation is now approaching critical so quickly the socialist democrat prime minister mrs Andersson has been making nocies about what woud in practice be re-nationalisation of power production and to completely stop transferring any electrical power from Sweden to abroad.

Industries are now closing down, everything from paper mills to bakeries. But not the server stations for Facebook, Twitter, Amazon and assorted - because due to a deal with the Socialist Democrat party they get power equalling an entire nuclear reactor for free, in exchange for monitoring and manipulating searches and debate and sharing of knowledge deemed "misinformation" by the party.

Perhaps the german parties have made similar deals?
