Belated remarks on Germany Health Ministry's fake news-laden "fact-booster" campaign
Mass containment in Germany is in a state of advanced decay
The German Health Ministry has poured almost 27 million Euros into a massive “fact booster” advertising campaign, including radio spots and whole-page ‘advertorials’ in major newspapers, which masquerade as editorial content. According to the Ministriy, their purpose is to present “the latest findings on Corona, the vaccines, and current testing options, in an understandable, concise and informative way.” Somebody in my office has hung the corresponding Süddeutsche-Zeitung ad in our tea kitchen. Its most bizarre feature, is the Karl Lauterbach icon, peaking out above a thinly disguised blurb for Paxlovid.
