What is with that for heaven's sake? Same thing here in the US - have you gotten a gander at California's Health tyrant? OMG - picture the witches around the cauldron in Macbeth - she fits right in! She looks like she escaped her coffin.
I've noticed the same thing in Canada in our health ministers. Tam, the Federal health minister looks like death warmed over. Hardly a poster child for good health.
Some quotes from his ex wife (an epidemiologist) from the year 2013 (!):
"I hope he doesn't become a minister. I would consider it better if Mr. Lauterbach did not get the office. He would not do justice to the great responsibility"
"He always puts his social conscience first in public. In private, however, I've gotten to know him from a completely different side. I think it's questionable what's going on in his head".
"In court, I got the impression that money and career were the most important things to him"
"I am extremely disappointed in Mr. Lauterbach. I fear that the public also overestimates his moral aptitude."
I make no joke: it makes me physically sick listening to him more than a minute.
He has an unfortunate accent (from Westphalia), but apart from that it is the tired bureaucratic monotone of an automaton. It is funny, disgusting, and scary (knowing that he has the violent might of the state on his side).
Merkel was a bit in that direction as well, it was hard to listen to her without falling asleep.
I'm convinced that the majority of government bureaucrats, of any grade or position, are composed of ghouls, grifters, and God-hating malcontents who hate themselves, rightly so, and everyone who isn't like them. Hence an imperative to occupy positions in which they can inflict the most damage possible against normal people.
When you look at all they are doing, the only conclusion you can draw is that they want to destroy everything in this country. I guess they want to be tyrant kings of a garbage dump. It's hard to figure out, but these are stupid, unrealistic and untalented people. They are entirely driven by pathetically sick and destructive ideology and can't see anything beyond that.
His haughty, pompous, arrogant, condescending, lying self completely comes through. Even worse when you realize he believes his own lies. Can you tell I didn't vote for him?
Müsli, probably. But he is bragging about not eating any salt, and that would rule out the Leberkäs.
As an aside: he does looks mal-nourished, salt being essential. That lack of proper nutrition leads to a lot of stress (high cortisol), which in turns often manifests in fear and panic, which often turns to anger and aggression.
I think we see that in a lot of the new left, who often are now vegans. Greta Thunberg comes to mind, and under nourished, under developed, angry person who is paid to turn her aggression to "a good cause"
It is strange, though, how few obese people one sees in paintings from, say, the sixteenth century. I'd take their fear and aggression over the current leftists' any day of the week.

Omigod I hope you are right. In Canada, BC, masking has been lifted for a couple of weeks but there are people crying to have it back. The heavy handed mandates scheduled to end April eight. But there does seem to be energy here to carry this farce further. I’m still a fringed on society.
See Igor Chudov's substack for evidence that present UK numbers indicate another wave is coming. It's seems primarily caused by the vaxxes themselves, i.e., the reinfections would, if correctly thought about, be counted as a class of Adverse Reactions/Vax Harms, but they will instead be labelled and thought of as Covid cases. And if Chudov is right that the reinfections damage immunity, a whole new Covid panic and "govt must do something" season of madness is possible, but this time to be pushed in a populace that's fed-up. It's all about to get extra-complicated and contentious, I fear.
Geert's future, if it comes to pass, is terrifying. and he's been right for almost a year about a lot of things. I have a lot of family members that are vaxxed because they trusted the narrative, and I just want to know what I can do to take care of them.
Not just coming, but happening now. If you have any interest in nerding out on graphs of the UK official stats, check out my stuff at https://noline.substack.com/p/ukhsa-week-2022-12. I'll have this week's data (week 13) up by evening Pacific Time.
Some people want to keep this thing going as long as possible for their own selfish reasons and they will stop at nothing apparently, to keep it happening
I have seen this same information in a few other places and of course that is what will happen. Alex Berenson of unreported truths predicted this a year ago.
Free BC!!! I’m here too. This post gives me hope cause Germany is...pretty nuts?! As well?! We have that BioNtech lipidnanoparticles manufacturing here weighing us down. That, and all the masked zombies/needtofitin-ers.
It really is the most absurd idea. What does being 'inclusive' even mean anymore? Seems like nothing more than gov lip service and virtue-signalling from the faux-woke.
Why is it necessary for a person making $300,000 as a mere public servant to virtue-signal about anything? LOL Why doesn't she stick to her job? Do others in positions of judgement come out and give corny little interviews to the press? (Meanwhile the Durham line officer who spoke in support of the truckers and FREEDOM, WHILE WEARING HER UNIFORM, has been charged. Makes sense!)
I wonder if this is the same human rights manager as the one who allowed for 'exemptions'? What ever happened to the inclusivity of freedom of choice, to a choice that makes no difference to anyone else and infringes on no one else's rights?
In my area, a red state in the US, there never were any mask mandates statewide, but many cities imposed their own. The authority for the cities to impose them ended about a year ago. Businesses still have the option of making their own mandates, but they pretty much universally rolled them back shortly after the city mandates (which never required the businesses to enforce them) ended. Medical offices may be an exception, but I have not attempted to go to one in well over a year, so I don't know. I do know that I haven't had to decide whether to disregard a sign or take my money elsewhere since the city mandates were ended.
I have never heard of any vax mandates in my state. Some employers may possibly have inflicted it on their employees, but New York style mandates just to participate in society would be unthinkable.
I still think my state went too far with the COVID stuff, fwiw. There were (comparatively mild) forced business closures that never should have happened anywhere in a western liberal democracy, let alone in a free state within the country formerly known as "the land of the free."
I feel for the Canadians and Americans from unfree states who have their heads on straight. I lived in California a few decades ago, and while I have never regretted moving out, I have never been as glad that I did as I have since COVID.
As a terrified Californian, I do often wonder which states are safe from the potential of COVID tyranny. How certain do you feel that your state would hold strong in the face of new pressure to crack down with mandates, etc.? I want to leave, but fear the problems here would only follow me.
I don't foresee any more COVID restrictions here. They were lifted quite some time ago, and if there was any political will to reimpose the restrictions, it seems that it would have happened in the fall of 2021, when delta was making the rounds, and when many states that had lifted their mandates reimposed them.
If there was not enough pressure to get the restrictions (mild as they were by comparison) reimposed at that time, I don't think that now, even further down the road (with everyone having COVID fatigue), with a much milder virus, there is any such pressure left. Fauci can flail around and talk about how "we" may need to impose restrictions yet again, but he has no power to do that. He's preaching to a shrinking choir.
I can't speak for everyone in the state, but it just feels like most people accept that when the restrictions were lifted about a year ago (even if they didn't personally think they should be), that was it... a return to normal, not a temporary respite that was subject to being taken back whenever the governor says so.
Now we know that lockdowns don't work, that mask orders don't work, that masks don't work, that the vaccines don't really work. Blue states don't operate on the basis of knowledge... they use the narrative as a replacement for knowledge and objective reality, so to them, all these things were effective and useful, since that is what the narrative dictates. You've got to be buried pretty deep in the narrative to buy that now, and in red states, the narrative just is not that popular. I don't see any great political will to go back to restrictions.
They went hard here and in my opinion, it hurt a great many more people than the covid alone ever could have. The maddening thing is that even as their narrative collapses they will never admit that. They will continue to justify the whole thing.
Welcome to the club from another British Columbia resident. And the teachers never stop fear mongering. It's pathetic. Mass psychosis is alive and well in this province.
I'm so happy for you Eugyppius. It's been a month since my deadline for a booster from my uni and they have said absolutely nothing. It's like they didn't even threaten my job.
I hope you're right. In California, there was so much opposition (supposedly from unions), that the principle sponsor of a mandate for all workers in California pulled the bill, but said it was being postponed. I don't think this is going to be let go, and I'm afraid it's going to show up in a "gut and amend" bill, where they swap the contents of a bill sitting in a suspense pile, and rush it through without much of an opportunity to oppose it. (They have truckers coming from DC to here to oppose a huge batch of bad bills - see https://unityprojectonline.com/take-action/ ).
I love SB1464, Public Health bureaucrats will be given police power, potentially creating 58 little dictators based on the whims of a county's health director's capricious feelings on any particular day.
All of these are nightmares for us, literal totalitarianism in the Golden State.
I can't believe they could get away with it all. California has its zealots, but outside the big coastal areas a great many places are very non-compliant and pretty much ignore the dictates from Newsom. I think if they went overboard with more laws, rules and mandates, there would be some sort of uprising before long. Maybe the truckers would come to Sacramento and drive through the damn legislature.
It's become a fact that pretty much anything government paid for or big business provided is detrimental to your health in one way or another: poor quality, scarce availability, poor staffing by under trained personel etc.
That must be corrected if we expect civilization to continue. Tolerating incompetence encourages more incompetence. It begins with fixing the failed education system.
The pandemic exposed California's reliance on constantly importing foreign labor to replace the middle and working classes who are fleeing in droves. All of a sudden the state is losing 2% of its population a year or so. It is increasingly a state of the rich ruling class and desperately poor imported labor.
Every time I read that the threatened vaccine mandate in Germany is closer to realization I have trouble eating and sleeping. Friends and family appear to have no problems taking the vaccines if demanded, because they claim they don't know anyone personally negatively affected (which I would debate). And they adhere to every stupid measure unquestioningly. This lack of support makes it doubly hard for me.
The only positive thing I see is that, in practice, people are no longer being vaccinated in Germany in significant numbers. Kind of voting with their feet.
Or how ridiculous it is to treat age as the primary risk factor. As if a 50 year old triathlete that pays close attention to everything they eat should lose autonomy over their body while a 30 year old obese diabetic that survives on fast food deserves to make their own choices. If someone wants to eat themselves to death, fine. But forcing the clotshot onto anyone is absurd. Any claimed benefits are based on variants that no longer circulate. It doesn't stop infection or transmission. And any benefit related to illness or death wanes within a few weeks. I can't believe these people are still pushing.
The argument was then that people have to be vaccinated to prevent hospital beds from overflowing.
The MSM were full of articles describing how awful it is when cancer patients and such do not get hospital beds because they were full of unvaccinated Covid patients.
Of course this never happened, and the argument was nonsensical from the beginning.
It was also never mentioned that during the Big Pandemic we reduced our ICU beds by almost a third.
As it is with all propaganda: these lies were told so long that they became self-evident, and do not have to justify anymore.
This total absence of objective evidence in proponents of the mandate is extremely abhorrent .
FTA: Unless innate immunity is restored in the majority of the population, one won’t see daily cases going down to zero. IMO, (natural or vaccine-mediated) boosting of vaccinal Abs is going to compromise innate immunity in vaccinees. So, part of the capacity that got restored thanks to Omicron’s resistance to neutralizing anti-S Abs will soon get lost due to high titers of non-neutralizing Abs that still bind with sufficient affinity to the virus to suppress binding of innate CoV-reactive Abs.
I think GVB thought this was possible if we stopped vaccinating and boosting. In any event, I take it that you don't put much stock in his latest predictions?
As long as early treatments are suppressed, I expect there will continuous death over time because of more variants due to the leaky vaccines. I also see future deaths over time due to the effects of the vaccines themselves. I'm just guessing increases in all cause mortality ~ no en masse or "mass extinction" events.
I completely agree. What I think will happen is that vaccinated will have a slightly worse experience with covid than people like me (I am an unvaccinated, completely asymptomatic Omicron survivor), but nothing like the scenario painted by Geert.
some of them undoubtedly have, and more than have been reported.
others, yes, have focused their immune response on the spike protein, probably for the rest of their lives - how this will drive virus evolution in the longer term is uncertain, but for the moment it pretty clearly has driven up the rate of infection in the vaccinated (but, curiously, *not* the rate of severe outcome).
i don‘t think predicting the rise of „super variants“ that no vaccines will protect against and that will afflict only the vaccinated while leaving the unvaccinated with at most mild illnesses, is much more than telling people what they want to hear.
I think the repeat vaxxing is keeping the protection against severe outcome somewhat up. However, this is very short term still and remains to be seen in the medium to long term, especially if plans go ahead for repeated boosting. There are also quite a few that will stop boosting. What happens to them? Does their immunity go negative as has been demonstrated already (I believe in UK or Swedish data) or do they over time recover their immunity?
Governments better get on board and start allowing doctors to prescribe ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, etc. Otherwise if Geert vanden Bossche's predictions are correct we will have a roller coaster ride of infections rates and deaths.
I meant the continued illness from side effects and non-immunity would be profitable, not early therapeutic drugs. I feel they don't want those drugs to be used because they are not profit beasts.
If he was a heroic warrior for freedom we'd see him differently. Then again, he probably wouldn't look like that either. It's strange how ideology seems to affect appearance, or is it just my imagination?
Considering how easy it was to impose the oppression, for the benefit of the one percent of the one percent, aren't you concerned about a second wave, based on something even more scary than SARS-CoV-2, particularly considering that world economics appear to be in rapid descent?
oh yes, and not so much a second wave, but the next rough flu season, or whatever: this is very clearly not just a risk, but the next battle, most probably
"one of Germany’s most disturbing postwar politicians."
I generally try to avoid ad hominem remarks, but when I clicked on the link to your article and that picture popped up in front of me, I almost spit out my tea.
[edit to add: on reading some of the other comments, I see I'm not alone.]
Come on man, I’m trying to eat, and you put a picture of that up? Have you no decency?
A while back somebody put together a picture of all the European health ministers, and a lot of them didn't look that healthy.
What is with that for heaven's sake? Same thing here in the US - have you gotten a gander at California's Health tyrant? OMG - picture the witches around the cauldron in Macbeth - she fits right in! She looks like she escaped her coffin.

I posted a pic of that lovely bloke earlier. He's class.

That's a man, baby! (Austin Powers voice)
You need to add a trigger warning for that. I almost spit up.
yyyyikes!
There's rumours she's a he.
There's a lot of that going on these days.
🤣🤣🤣
Definitely not selected based on her attractiveness!!
Yes, I immediately thought 'vampire' when I looked at this guy's picture!
Ooh. I'd love to see that
This one's lovely, though. Bubbly. A bit of fun. Into Beethoven's greatest hits and guzzling chocs. https://search.brave.com/images?q=health%20minister%20Belgium#

See also "faces of meth".
You can tell by looking at that guy he's a spiteful mutant, since childhood - I can't even picture him as a cute baby. More like a troll. Ugh.
His four children have not spoken to him in 25 years
How on earth did he manage to get some poor woman to bear his children in the first place?
Some quotes from his ex wife (an epidemiologist) from the year 2013 (!):
"I hope he doesn't become a minister. I would consider it better if Mr. Lauterbach did not get the office. He would not do justice to the great responsibility"
"He always puts his social conscience first in public. In private, however, I've gotten to know him from a completely different side. I think it's questionable what's going on in his head".

She was also pretty critical of corona measures in germany.
I'd say date rape, but I can't imagine how he'd even get a date. Maybe he hooked up with one of his fellow health ministers?
Here she is: https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/proxy/uv1KocEBsJEknKDe6UzaaHLh2JoFDELTkvD3tHtMFFfDPrD1GHUvt1C9-vlR0NVj6OetQ0CXPFj7BK1srs-ZxpNtSXBCZxX4Ipp_V0z3TxAeXIuscpUKtxiWUZFPvVkPnfwEGbfbnkDQRkCZnAonBBVSchh-6sfWxJSiZO_YHIs=w1200-h630-p-k-no-nu
Ha Ha, I misread that as: "one of my fellow health mistresses"
wow!
You should listen to him.
Or better: don't.
I make no joke: it makes me physically sick listening to him more than a minute.
He has an unfortunate accent (from Westphalia), but apart from that it is the tired bureaucratic monotone of an automaton. It is funny, disgusting, and scary (knowing that he has the violent might of the state on his side).

They have no talent to do anything at all....so they go into government.
like. The Fauci effect
Yes, but now it seems they have become very stupid to boot.
The handling of the Russian crisis seems to me very inept, and will lead to a disaster her in Europe, and probably also in the USA.
(Although the USA always had a knack of getting itself together eventually, which is hopefully not yet lost)
The question I keep hearing is: They aren't trying to destroy the US, are they?
But, then again, what would they be doing differently if they WERE trying to destroy the US?
When you look at all they are doing, the only conclusion you can draw is that they want to destroy everything in this country. I guess they want to be tyrant kings of a garbage dump. It's hard to figure out, but these are stupid, unrealistic and untalented people. They are entirely driven by pathetically sick and destructive ideology and can't see anything beyond that.
They probably would do the same, but do it smarter and more efficient.
E.g. the way the handled the vaccine was a disaster.
Not to mention the current handling of Russia.
They are trying to rule the world, and to destroy all culture, but they are to stupid to offer a valid Ersatz-culture.
Eventually more and more citizens see that.
If you want to have an example how smart people do it: look to China.
it is not by accident that our elites admire China so much.
I sympathize but we have to listen to Trudeau.
For the non-native speaker he sounds ok.
I think the real awfulness of certain speakers is only obvious to the native speaker.
His haughty, pompous, arrogant, condescending, lying self completely comes through. Even worse when you realize he believes his own lies. Can you tell I didn't vote for him?
Never would have guessed!
California's Governor Gruesome is horrible to listen to. The worst speaker ever, and an ear-grating voice to go with his lack of intellect.
He talks in a very similar way as Eichmann did. They share same callousness and complete lack of empathy
Although him here, looks more like Eichmann. He even stole his glasses.

Yes, he sounds drunk.

His brain is giving out as well, just like a drunk.
Being demented is a good excuse for Brandon; not so much for the state who keeps him a leader.
?
He tends to talk like a drunk. And he once mentioned in a cooking show that his brain probably suffered quite a bit from his red wine comsumption, ...
Ohhhh. Thank you!! (hic!)
I think he means drinking problem.
what does "bg singer" mean?
background singer, I'm usually the oohs and ahhhs and shoobedoos. and sometimes the non-dominant voice in a duet.
Probably because his mumm likely refused to breastfeed him and dad probably fed him with a slingshot.

Yes, exactly.
Obesity is often a sign of mal-nourishment.
Some essential nutrition is missing, and the body keeps on eating in order to fill that lack.
The body in essence feels like it is starving, which leads to that state of fear and aggression, and to a lack of rationality.
It is strange, though, how few obese people one sees in paintings from, say, the sixteenth century. I'd take their fear and aggression over the current leftists' any day of the week.
Consider it a reminder to floss.

It is!! So maddening too. I thought we were smarter than this!!
get them to read 'unmasked' - or just shower them with charts from it.... the whole world should be showered in the charts from it....
I generally hate to make comments on people's appearance, but this guy looks like he can't wait to get his hands on the Ark of the Covenant.
He looks like Bill Nye the Meth Guy.
Lol so funny and so true!!
like
bhwahahaha!
hahahahahaha
I'm so happy for you Eugyppius. It's been a month since my deadline for a booster from my uni and they have said absolutely nothing. It's like they didn't even threaten my job.
Sad. "Booster" sounds like 2 jabs were foisted on you
Where are you?
Midwest USA
Particularly when Soros is funding races for sheriff, which has specified power in the constitution.
How old is that monster Soros....shouldn't he be going to his just reward soon?
At least AB1933, the all-worker vaccine mandate, has failed:
https://www.jeffdornik.com/post/california-s-all-worker-vaccine-mandate-bill-has-failed
California is for the moment lost. Those are all scary.
I’m out of CA this summer. IMO the covidiot blue wokester weenies will go stark raving lunatic when the SHTF which it will soon.
It will be reversed when they can no longer find health care workers.
Once they get here they figure out the risks, too.
I recently talked to a nurse in California. Hospitals are desperate for new nurses to join.
That man looks legit insane.
he is
He's also driven by some sort of demons...
I wonder how many professional headshot photos they took before he decided “that’s the one”!
And sadly that’s likely “touched up”
Poor guy.
I don't feel sorry for him. He looks like he's had too many medications and vaccinations.
This guy just looks like the picture of health we should all aspire to be.
It is incredible how we gotten used to this illogical disregard of human rights in those last two years.
Why should +50 be mandated, when we conclude that +18 don't have to?
This total absence of even trying to make sense is awful.
Of course, if +50 will be mandated, in the winter everyone else will be as well. After all, it would be unfair...
And every politician who votes for a +50 mandate knows that he is also voting for an +18 mandate, and eventually +0 mandate.
I hate it all so much, it is very hard to express on a keyboard.
Here in Germany in 2021 the narrative turned to
a)the health system may be overloaded, and
b)the "vaccine" prevents bad courses of Covid
That picture is proof dispositive that physiognomy is valid.
After your Covid is not special article, what do you think of Geert's latest paper?
https://uploads-ssl.webflow.com/616004c52e87ed08692f5692/6244c3b09ad5701f3ec17765_GVB_s%2Banalysis%2Bof%2BC-19%2Bevolutionary%2Bdynamics.pdf
wasn‘t his prior view that Omicron was an opportunity for the vaccinated to reset their immunity, or however he put it?
https://voiceforscienceandsolidarity.substack.com/p/question-to-dr-x-is-dr-vanden-bossche?s=r
I mean, does anyone really believe the vaccinated will start dying en masse very soon? How many predictions of this kind have failed so far?
As long as early treatments are suppressed, I expect there will continuous death over time because of more variants due to the leaky vaccines. I also see future deaths over time due to the effects of the vaccines themselves. I'm just guessing increases in all cause mortality ~ no en masse or "mass extinction" events.
I completely agree. What I think will happen is that vaccinated will have a slightly worse experience with covid than people like me (I am an unvaccinated, completely asymptomatic Omicron survivor), but nothing like the scenario painted by Geert.
I'm glad you're saying that. But do you feel that they have compromised their long-term health?
some of them undoubtedly have, and more than have been reported.
others, yes, have focused their immune response on the spike protein, probably for the rest of their lives - how this will drive virus evolution in the longer term is uncertain, but for the moment it pretty clearly has driven up the rate of infection in the vaccinated (but, curiously, *not* the rate of severe outcome).
i don‘t think predicting the rise of „super variants“ that no vaccines will protect against and that will afflict only the vaccinated while leaving the unvaccinated with at most mild illnesses, is much more than telling people what they want to hear.
like.
Desire for a little schadenfreude or addiction to fear and dread, you think?
and thank you for that clear-eyed response. Refreshing and hopeful.
Obergruppenführer Lauterbach
Great news!
And curious what you think of Geert vanden Bossche's concerns:
https://voiceforscienceandsolidarity.substack.com/p/geert-vanden-bossche-predictions.
Same comment at the same time!
Governments better get on board and start allowing doctors to prescribe ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, etc. Otherwise if Geert vanden Bossche's predictions are correct we will have a roller coaster ride of infections rates and deaths.
There might be a bit of hope on that front, especially if this bill passes and other states get on board: https://www.newsweek.com/new-hampshire-pharmacies-could-soon-dispense-ivermectin-without-doctor-approval-1670883
a glimmer
How profitable that will be for the Medical Industrial Complex
It won't be profitable -- those are extremely inexpensive drugs, maybe that was your point?
I meant the continued illness from side effects and non-immunity would be profitable, not early therapeutic drugs. I feel they don't want those drugs to be used because they are not profit beasts.
Ha! What timing...!
If he was a heroic warrior for freedom we'd see him differently. Then again, he probably wouldn't look like that either. It's strange how ideology seems to affect appearance, or is it just my imagination?
physiognomy is real
I'm so happy for you! I only hope Canada will lift travel restrictions although nothing is on the horizon. Except lawsuits.
ha! true. sue their asses!
