The German bivalent booster campaign has been an epic flop – even worse than I thought it would be. Fourth dose uptake peaked around the end of October, and now it’s in steady decline and there’s nothing that all the multi-million dollar disingenuous ad campaigns, Lauterbachian fear mongering and media gaslighting in the world can do to turn it around.
The failure means that Germany is awash in expiring vaccine doses that nobody wants. Wolfgang Kubicki, liberal vice-president of the Bundestag, put a question to the government about this delicate matter, and he has now received an answer:
