Apollo News reports on the newest, most irregular German holiday, which consists of the police conducting coordinated raids on and interrogations of ordinary people who are alleged to have said rude things on the internet:
Absolutely nothing changes anywhere in any era of time or history or whatever we want to call it. This is the grim side of human nature--the joy of being a Stoberhund.
Monty Python was right. Nobody ever expects the Spanish Inquisition and yet the Spanish Inquisition shall always be with us. Only the targets get adjusted per current tastes. And recruitment is always so easy. Snitchers were everywhere in blue states in the US during Our Plague Era and none of those people are yet penitent.
Sorry to burst your bubble but Monty Python is not a documentary. The Spanish Inquisition was mild in its nature and had few punctuated events which are overplayed by the usual suspects. Read a bit about what those opponents of the Inquisition did during the Spanish Civil War, it'll turn your stomach. But regardless of that, the Spanish Inquisition was of lighter consequence, in terms of radical punishment, than contemporary policing, and the actual number of trials were very few considering it lasted three centuries. They were also very thorough in passing down fair judgement, documenting everything.
Yes, consistent and fair. A world which tolerates things like OnlyFans and these politicians of ours would not readily understand. That is, until we've truly had enough of it and are again willing to admit we had let go of forms of judgement which protected us from precisely what we suffer today.
Speaking of AfD, did anyone get their house raided by the national police because they used their X account to call an AfD politician a Nazi?
As for hiding behind their cell phones, I 'm sure that if someone like Robert Habeck would put himself in a position to be called a moron face to face, these online posters would gladly take him up on it. The reason the public doesn't say these things to politicians in "the real world" is that these politicians constantly insulate themselves from "the real world."
I would say I am not worried so much as prepared. I have taken various slightly obnoxious measures to ensure that they'll have extreme difficulty getting into any of my devices should they seize them, and that if they do they won't find much there anyway.
What, if anything, can I do to help?.... Besides make some effort to make this story more widely known? I'd say that VERY FEW Americans even know this is going on in Germany.... And remember, yes, they are trying to suppress "hate speech", (whatever that is!), but this is ALSO about developing digital control & surveillance tools, methods & infrastructure.....
Awareness alone is not at all useful, especially from foreign shores. All "public influence" is curated and cultivated by NGOs like ReSPECT that are an outsourced Stasi rat 🐀 squad for the State and Polizei. This is simply how our Super Bestest Western Liberal Demuhcratik Systems™️ work, dear chap. We live in a total panopticon.
You don't keep incriminating information on your phone. You keep incriminating information (by which I mean free speech) at-rest encrypted on a server in a different jurisdiction where self-incrimination, even under terrorism legislation, cannot be demanded of you. You ensure that you can only secure access to that information by means of not only password that is in your head and nowhere else, but keys that are kept on a further separate remote server with a "dead man's switch" that wipes the key if you don't check in every few days. While in custody, you can be sure that your data will never be accessible to anyone.
And frankly this is reasonable security for your own personal non-incriminating data. Even your holiday snaps. Who knows that they might be deemed incriminating in future?
The downside of this approach is following the wiping of your keys, your data is also never again accessible to you. But you have a friend in Thailand who keeps a CD-rom in their closet...
Is this paranoid? Probably. But when one lives in the Best Germany of All Time...
Oh, also you can set your phone to wipe after X wrong password entries. And you do use password/pin, not fingerprint, or face, or anything like that.
QUOTE: And frankly this is reasonable security for your own personal non-incriminating data. Even your holiday snaps. Who knows that they might be deemed incriminating in future?
---
Good points. But also bear in mind that ALL readily available ENCRYPTION CAN BE BROKEN with relative ease by a government-level adversary.
QUOTE: The downside of this approach is following the wiping of your keys, your data is also never again accessible to you. But you have a friend in Thailand who keeps a CD-rom in their closet...

Keeping things on CD-ROM in several other jurisdictions is also a good idea.
Always remember that THERE ARE COUNTLESS WAYS YOUR COMPUTER SYSTEM SPIES AND REPORTS ON YOU. For example, your printer keeps records of everything you print, and regularly "calls home." One should assume that any print job could be hoovered up by our "security services."
QUOTE: Is this paranoid? Probably. ...

Probably not paranoid enough. Also consider the fearsome power of TRAFFIC ANALYSIS. Analyzing in detail who you communicate with, when, who the other parties are in touch with, etc. will often give much more important insights into your life, views and actions than reading your email, web searches and online posts.
One person occupying a three bedroom house here. If you suddenly decide to move to New Mexico, I'll put you up for a while, no matter the paperwork it will cost me.
The police is fed up serving politically appointed bosses, being harassed by media and politicians for doing their job when it involves non-White non-Germans, being spat on and abused by shitskins of various origin, and the rest of the humiliation-conga.
But they are also afraid of protesting, because those who did so were "disciplined": fired or transferred to no-hope no-career positions to make them quit, and no-one stood up for them so all the remaining polie are "syltryggar" (sylt = jam, rygg [here] = back) or think everyone else on the fore is.
And they take this frustration out on the only safe target: actual Germans.
The solution suggests itself, but is actionable to write, speak or even think about.
I think quite often of what a horror my life would've been during Our Plague Era if it had occurred while I was still working and while my child was young. There are a trazillion ways to blackmail and coerce even people whose eyes are completely open and whose brains are fully functioning.
It always disturbed me, reading about people who acted with great courage during every monstrous age we can look back on, how so often they risked the lives of their loved ones to do their Big Noble Resistance.
That's how they get us, every time. Unless we all the ordinary people are willing to contribute to legal assistance funds and emergency grant funds for things like rent and food and school fees that resisters will always need to pay for, we can't expect decent uniformed services members to fight back on our behalf.
But who will be willing to join the AfD? Have I read correctly today that the Bavarian Government is adding the AfD to its list of “extremist-influenced organisations.” Is it true that members wanting to take up civil service jobs may be rejected purely on their party affiliations? And what about FC Bundestag refusing to allow AfD party members to join the team? There are certain websites I may have to give up reading to save my sanity.
I think you should continue to read what you please, and take a view on everything. Certainly the real and manufactured madness is difficult to follow at times.
Of course, eugyppius and his close friends think a lot before publishing.
I’d prefer not to give up certain reliable sites. They cannot help it if the news is disgusting. It’s just becoming utterly depressing reading it day in , day out.
It's good to take a break, digest, weed out the silly stuff and keep going. We are in charge of our consumption, even if people like Mr Starmer demand he 'is the law'.
There is a higher than usual level of emotion in MSM right now.
Hey look, I just made a list and both the Bavarian and German government are filed under "Illigitimate states, occupied by foreign interests" and as such must be deposed as a matter of moral necessity.
This is exactly why I've been screaming about free speech across the globe for however many years I've been on here, now. It wasn't just the Biden administration that wanted to control the flow of information -- they had groups all around the globe trying to push these "hate speech" or "misinformation" laws that ALWAYS exempt the government.
And we thought burning people at the stake for printing the Bible in the vernacular and handing out copies to any who wanted them was a horrible relic of the past.
I appreciate these posts as it allows me to share the reality of such insanity with my friends here in the US--there but for the whim of politicians go we.
This has nothing to do with today’s article but I was wondering if you could comment. I just read an article in Reuters regarding the 5% pledge from EU countries towards security. It said, “Now it (EU) has saddled itself with pledges - with the notable exception of Germany, whose finances are solid after years of frugality,” bla, bla, bla. I was under the impression that Germany’s economy was basically cratering due mostly to its energy policies. What say you?
German economy bad but we have a pretty healthy debt-to-GDP ratio, which is another way of saying that our government historically has exercised fairly good fiscal discipline. Partly this is how the Eurozone functions: we get to export our cars for free, in return other EU members (the Meds) get to run up a lot of debt. we try to keep the Euro anchored by not doing that. I guess wr see what happens when we also start debt-spending in earnest.
I'm wondering if the Ministry of Suppression will refer to the sub-committee of suppression activities with regard to the subversive protocols used from 2019 onwards by Mr 'BoJo' (of London Bus), as moderated by the influence of the original Minister of Suppression Mr Tone Blurrrr (of huge fees PLC) back in 1997? Perhaps this could be entrusted to the least useful Minister alive, Ms Cooper (of Cooper ImmoHotels.com)?
I am assured Lord Hermer KC is itching to give away some land along with Mr Philippe Sands KC (of Mauritius), backed by the ever active Mr Starmer KC (of 'the law' and Chagos Islands).
Amazing isn’t it; violence and other crime is rife, possible terror cells embedded through the community, and they are raiding social media shitposters…
Here in the US, for the past 50 or so years we have explained the propensity of our federal bureau of firearms enforcement (BATF) for going after gun owners and dealers making innocent and insignificant paperwork mistakes, rather than hunting down cartel smugglers and streetside sales: "because paper doesn't shoot back."
Funny you mention that. I was just musing the other day on the remarkable choice of Feminism Inc. to have held that World Conference on Women in Beijing in 1995.
Absolutely nothing changes anywhere in any era of time or history or whatever we want to call it. This is the grim side of human nature--the joy of being a Stoberhund.

And recruitment is always so easy. Snitchers were everywhere in blue states in the US during Our Plague Era and none of those people are yet penitent.
They are not penitent because they have escaped accountability.
Exactly.
"Fair judgement."
Yes, consistent and fair. A world which tolerates things like OnlyFans and these politicians of ours would not readily understand. That is, until we've truly had enough of it and are again willing to admit we had let go of forms of judgement which protected us from precisely what we suffer today.
Yes dear. Nothing like thought police to make everything better.
Difference is, among the tools of the German government is NOT ruthless efficiency. Most certainly not. Neither a fanatical devotion to the Pope.
You've caught the English disease, as with most things we did it first. Absolutely disgusting behaviour !
I suggest, for our own peace of mind in the UK, repeating:
'Dame M Dawes, CEO of Ofcom, is a towering intellect and expertly leads an organisation which has never employed activists'.
This may not be entirely accurate.....
Pah! I'm surprised she hasn't redacted Shakespeare for unlicensed emotional distress!
To misquote Downfall:'Steyn will save us.'
Perfidious Albion, experts at holding others to standards which they themselves can skirt.

I am still seeking the 'professional' services former minister Robert Habeck uses to great effect - especially his hair treatment.
"Speaking of AfD, did anyone get their house raided by the national police because they used their X account to call an AfD politician a Nazi?"
Excellent question, to which I hope we get an answer.
Are you worried about getting a visit yourself, Mr Eugyppius? They've also been convicting people for some pretty frivolous stuff.
I would say I am not worried so much as prepared. I have taken various slightly obnoxious measures to ensure that they'll have extreme difficulty getting into any of my devices should they seize them, and that if they do they won't find much there anyway.

Well, Palantir are right at the heart of things, as usual....
Thank goodness!
That may not be enough. Tommy Robinson was arrested under the Terrorism Act in Britain for refusing to give the Police the password for his phone.
I find it almost comforting that the governments of Britain and Germany are united in tyranny. We the people are equally revolting.

No cloud, friends.
Good. Hope they manage not to decide that they need your scalp. This is all so extraordinarily insane.
One person occupying a three bedroom house here. If you suddenly decide to move to New Mexico, I'll put you up for a while, no matter the paperwork it will cost me.
So your online footprint isn't evidence enough?
That’s what I thought too 🤯
Suggestion for reason and rationale:
The police is fed up serving politically appointed bosses, being harassed by media and politicians for doing their job when it involves non-White non-Germans, being spat on and abused by shitskins of various origin, and the rest of the humiliation-conga.

Saying "No" comes with a cost for sure.
But expecting whomever it is to stop with the bullying if one doesn't say "No", well we all know from the school-yard how that plays out.
We need to re-learn a vital skill: bullies are for ganging up on.
I agree. We need to re-learn it contagiously.

Yes, I agree. The MSM and I parted company in 2016.
Wow. You were waaaay ahead of me. I am honoured to be exchanging thoughts with you.
Hey look, I just made a list and both the Bavarian and German government are filed under "Illigitimate states, occupied by foreign interests" and as such must be deposed as a matter of moral necessity.
Just no words 😱
Let's call them what they are: Stasi days sponsored by the woke left to suppress free speech.
Democracy is dead.
Isn’t it great to see your hard-earned tax dollars at work?
This is exactly why I've been screaming about free speech across the globe for however many years I've been on here, now. This is the act of a State in terminal decline.
The wrongs are beyond parody, so the voices of alarm or concern must be silenced by the State.
The State propaganda goes hand in hand with State censorship.
It is State totalitarianism, which as usual, will fail.
Doesn't Germany, and most of Europe, have a fairly recent history of just such governmental over-reach?
Indeed. But, we don't like to mention it. Often. much.
In fact, the current government suppression has been put in place specifically to prevent any discussion of the previous government suppression.
Yes. Staatssicherheit and Geheime Staatspolizei. And the Kaiserliche Geheimpolizei. A good old tradution...
Have any German political parties promised to change these anti Free Speech laws?
Why do you want to see German democracy destroyed, citizen?!?
Um, because it sucks?....
Did you know that Einbeck has a "Partner City" in the U.S.?....I'm there now....
Amazing isn’t it; violence and other crime is rife, possible terror cells embedded through the community, and they are raiding social media shitposters…

Yes. The recent statistics for British police arrests made for social media posts vs actual crimes are an absolute joke.
Exactly what one would predict when DEI hiring swamps competence-oriented hiring.
Yup
I wonder if things are any better in the People's Republic of China.
Funny you mention that. I was just musing the other day on the remarkable choice of Feminism Inc. to have held that World Conference on Women in Beijing in 1995.
