My Interview with Irina Slav on the Greens, the German Energy Transition, and What I Think Will Become of It All
Maybe you read?
I’ve had to let my posting muscles rest a little, in preparation for some longer pieces I’ve had planned for a long time now, so today has been filled with study. In honour of Oktoberfest, I’m also about to commit myself to a mild cooking adventure, during which I will prepare seasonally appropriate Krustenbraten with potatoes and, I think, green beans. There will also be beer.
In the meantime, perhaps you would like to have a look at my two-part interview with the excellent Irina Slav, on the insanity of the German energy transition and related matters:
Irina does excellent work on climate craziness in general; her Substack is worth a look.
There is something inspiring about your beer posting. It is not yet noon in America but my sense of purpose is to leave work, go to the health foods store, and find this Augustiner-Bräu (supermarket will not have).
It sure won’t lead to a post scarcity fusion economy, that’s for damned certain.
