Times reporter Apoorva Mandavilli, a relentless Corona hystericist who once tweeted that we should “stop talking about the lab leak theory” because of “its racist roots,” has a new article worrying about “missteps in the U.S. response to monkeypox.” Although Mandavilli has never met a lockdown she didn’t like and probably masks in the shower, she would never suggest that gay men refrain from risky sexual activities or even wear condoms. That’s not the way to solve monkeypox. Instead, American health authorities should test more and increase funding to “sexual health clinics.”
