Early this morning, the United States Air Force and Navy attacked Iranian nuclear facilities at Isfahan, Natanz and Fordow. Six Northrop B-2 Spirit bombers dropped 12 massive GBU-57 “bunker busters” on Fordow, while a seventh B-2 dropped two further such bombs on Natanz. American submarines supported the attack with 30 Tomahawk missiles fired at Natanz and Isfahan. Satellite imagery of Fordow appears to show entry holes and the collapse of an underground structure; the Pentagon has claimed that the site suffered “severe damage” but is not destroyed.
