Oh look..a nazi in the thread..

From the same guy that cut and pastes by rote a link to the old trope of "Concentration camps outside of Germany were just holiday camps "...

A simple google search would find you the photos of murders that you cannot be bothered finding...at the locations you think it never happened..

"..All photographs of heaps of corpses were taken in..Dachau, Bergen-Belsen, and Buchenwald..where historians now agree no mass murders took place."

Except historians dont..but hey..in with a pound of lies in with the lot..

"..It is very telling that the Soviets released no pictures of mass graves or heaps of corpses.."

Its very telling that someone can access the google and still lie.

And something like yourself cannot find access to a computer..

Search term under image search in google "soviet photos of concentration camp corpses"

The "article" used one supposed witness saying great things about Dachau...

But disregarded thousands of witnesses and guards who said the reverse..wow..

No doubt the Nuremberg trials never happened..and when the defendants were fighting for their lives, admitted their crimes but used the excuse "we had no choice we were just following orders"...they could have just argued "never happened" and demanded proof...but the majority never did that.

Wow..history and facts..

And for a final "laugh"...if I lock up a load of people and under feed them and over work them..and they die of illness and disease and fatigue...we would have creatures like yourself slither out dancing with glee going "but they never were murdered them"...

Its murder either way smiley..please dont post rubbish like this here..youre just embarrassing yourself and clearly have no clue..but don`t care....

Are you passing responsibility to the Ford, Rockerfeller organisations?

I wonder if you’ve considered the possibility of both malign influence from the US AND malign behaviour in Germany. There’s little doubt that was a mass formation, rather as there is today, with end effects if I may speculate, to be far worse than happened in Hitlers Germany.

I’m well aware of the deep background to the present day, and the parsimonious explanation appears to invoke many evil people , by no means restricted to one country.

All people need to vehemently push back against any type of mandate around Covid. It's all BS and the fact so many are still driving around alone in their cars wearing masks just confirms people really are stupid. Wake up. Nothing about Covid lockdowns, mandates or other "requirements" is based on public health. It's all about public control. Pray, plan, prepare and RESIST.

They seem to have been relying mostly on intimidation. They threaten to do something, like fire everyone who hasn't gotten jabbed, and then wait for people to panic and comply. Half the time they don't even pass a law, it's just media talking heads speculating about what might happen, and people comply pre-emptively.

My employer told us we had to get vaxxed. I ignored them. They then gave an extension. I continued ignoring them. Then another extension, with more ignoring. Then they dropped it. Later they suddenly brought it back. I waited until the last possible minute, quite deliberately, and sent in a sharply worded exemption request. It was approved within the hour.

Officially the organization has over 90% vaxx compliance. From talking to people, I know many didn't want to get it. If they'd simply done what I did - mostly passive resistance - the organization would have been forced to drop it. These shitweasels only have as much power as we let them have.

Expand full comment

What was the basis of your exemption? IFor me I would say it was due to a pre-existing condition known as "critical-thinking" that prevented me from getting it.

A good many who masked up did it to "get along to move along." It's great to hear a lot are voicing their opinion.

Expand full comment

The most important word here is *prepare*. All of this could have been avoided if we had rejected the initial "two week to flatten the curve" proposal. Covid succeeded because they persuaded basically good but unthinking people to go along with it.

When they try this again, we have to be uncompromising.

Expand full comment

Not necessarily stupid. I can think of other reasons than stupidity why people drive around in their cars alone wearing masks.

• Laziness, they may make frequent stops and it's a hassle to constantly take off and put on masks.

• Fear of being reported. If they are a Lyft or Uber driver maybe they fear being reported.

• Sign of Worship at the alter of government and public health. There are true believers that would rather show their deference for government authority. It is a type of virtue signaling.

Sure was a strange coincidence that the 'private companies' of Uber and Lyft dropped their mask rules the same day the government did. I'm sure it was totally voluntary, though.

Everyone has been so afraid of consequences from day one. The majority of the time, the govt was bluffing!

Here in the UK our lockdowns were not enforced. There were always legal loopholes allowing people to be out of the house and most police forces didn't even bother with trying to interpret the web of nonsensical rules devised by the govt.

And yet many people complied not because they believed in the rules but because they were terrified of being questioned by police. But what real authority did they have to determine whether you were out of the home for an essential reason or not? Why not take a chance anyway?

In the end, all of the legal cases brought against people for lockdown breaches were thrown out. The state decided not to prosecute a single one, knowing lockdown laws would not hold up in court.

Expand full comment

my friend recently visited austria and said that there too the mandates were loosely, if at all, enforced. but that's very different from months ago when we saw video footage of people being herded and arrested, even beaten, in the streets. in australia (and china) your cell phone ratted you out of you got too far from home.

however, even if lock downs are not strictly enforced, if stores, theaters, restaurants, parks and churches all around you are closed, there isn't much reason for you to ever go out which makes a lock down without enforcement

Expand full comment

Yes, I agree. The threat of enforcement and/or exclusion from society can enable a lockdown that is just as damaging and as real as one that is imposed by force.

My comment wasn't intended to imply that the UK lockdowns weren't authoritarian and immoral -- which they were. What I mean is that we the people always had far more power than we realised. Collective noncompliance can go a long way, especially in these situations where governments have pretended to have absolute power, when the truth is far from it.

1) The discourse is still pretending that proper early treatment is ineffective. As "we" let them pretend that vaxxing is the only useful strategy, we concede the contest.

2) I offered a Loonie to anyone who could recall a politician or public "health" advisor recommending adequate Vitamin D supplementation. Two winners in two years, both refused the coin. One ER physician had possibly a hint.

3) CPSO & CPSBC and most others in Canada still (figuratively) burning physicians at the stake, or at least their licences, for undertaking proven early treatments.

4) For an English exercise, compare the meanings of the verbs "to mandate" and "to coerce" in current usage.

The thing is, even when the laws are obeyed (or half-obeyed), the consequence is a weakening of trust in institutions. You get people to do something ridiculous, but now they see you and yours as "those people whose purpose is to make life miserable for everyone." And so breaking your rules becomes a point of honor. So you get only half-way compliance, combined with lots of corruption, both when your rules make sense and when they don't. That eventually leads to collapse, though not necessarily immediately.

Your friend is right about the travel mandates to a certain degree. Yes, the unvaccinated can finally get on a plane in Canada but upon returning to this country they must quarantine for 14 days. " I also think the main reason the Federal Government did this is due to the airline and travel industry complaining. Not to show compassion for the unvaccinated."

----------

Totally agree with this.

Expand full comment

Maybe but I think the PM is more vicious than you think. Since vaccinated travellers have been allowed to fly domestically and internationally Canadian airports have been a total mess (like in other countries but for different reasons). Trudeau wanted to make sure that non-vaccinated (the small fringe minority with racists and misogynistic views) would not squeeze into the lines of vaccinated. So control of vaccination status and scanning of QR codes created bottlenecks.

The majority of the MPs who voted for the vaccine mandate as well as their electorate who were vaccinated could not enjoy their privilege and had to be lined-up and checked even after being the good member of the vaccinated sheeple.

Of course nobody could blame the non-vaccinated for this mess because they were not allowed to travel.

So now, by allowing the non-vaccinated to travel (which are twice more than claimed by the government, close to 10 millions), will create more chaos in the airports and the storm troopers of the Covidian cult will have somebody to blame for this situation, the unvaxxed.

Just want to mention the AC flight from Montreal to London where 27 people were deplaned before leaving the gate; apparently for some unruly unmasked travellers.

Who wants to fly intercontinental with a diaper on his or her face with a bunch of vaccinated people shedding spike proteins all over and be in isolation on arrival?

we still have the quarantine for the pure blood with mandatory test during the 2 weeks (checked by public health officer). As I understand it, the law was set to expire on 15 June anyway, and they simply didn't renew it. Indeed it was the general rule you describe. Now a limited version remains in place that applies only to healthcare personnel.

As an Austrian, I am so happy. I am afraid they will still resort to G2 rules, but this is an important step.

Expand full comment

I don't know if that 2G/3G nonsense comes back. Rauch is talking mostly about the need to return to mask mandates if cases get bad.

Expand full comment

I talked to a couple of Austrian friends yesterday; mostly they think (and I think) that the health minister (who inherited this s*t show from his predecessor, who was responsible for starting the vax mandate) realized that due to vaccine damage it might be legally problematic to have a general vax mandate (apart from it being unconstitutional, of course). Still, they might want to get people to get the vaccine, so my friends think the elegant way of forcing people in a more roundabout way would be reimplementing 2G rules.

I hope you are right, Eugyppius, and they will just let go. I think the current wave is crucial. "Numbers" have been rising for 3 weeks now and, if Portugal is anything to go by, will be peaking in 1-2 weeks' time. IF they manage to sit on their hands and wait for the wave to pass without implementing measures, and nothing much happens, this will set an important precedent. They will be able to point at the Horrible Summer Wave of 22 and explain that we did fine without measures. But if they blink now and implement measures now (Austrian specialty: lock down at the peak of a wave and see the numbers fall), they're more likely to do it in winter.

Do go to Austria when all this madness has passed. It's such a beautiful country; if you like Bavaria, you'll like it there.
