Oh, another vague morality law that can be applied to anyone who they don’t like. I don’t understand the enforcement or how you couldn’t fake an entire case by creating AI porn about yourself and then claiming another person sent it. It has blackmail type qualities to it. I guess this is where censorship ends up when people are Hell bent on controlling everything on the internet- it turns into paranoia.

eugyppius's avatar

As written it's just wild. What if you post a picture of yourself and your girlfriend at the beach in bathing sutis but then your girlfriend breaks up with you and decides the photo is "unauthorised" and files a criminal complaint. Even b-roll news footage of people on crowded beaches would seem illegal, any photograph showing cleavage, it's just crazy.

Charlotte's avatar

How will they handle Oktoberfest and the ladies handing out the beer? I mean, isn’t the cleavage part of why people go? It’s like they are banning part of German culture with this, all in the pursuit of some illusory girl power. At the same time it’s absurd like the Danes (sorry correction- it’s Finland! Sorry Danes) and their “No-No Box” song- we are living in weird times.

Invite them to Mardi Gras day and night in the French Quarter of New Orleans and they'll see some shit they can really clutch pearls about.

Freedom Fox's avatar

It certainly is rich to hear from the same exact people who take their little children to Drag Queen Hour at their local library to watch fat old men in wigs and garish makeup twerking inches away from children with only a g-string on...just sayin'.

Mitch's avatar

no, that will be protected.

Margaret Treis's avatar

Oh, that's personal expression. You know, people being themselves. It makes you see how ideological it all is. There's nothing "moral" about it.

“Everyone in coveralls and barracks… except we Bolshevik ‘Jews’.” - Leiba Bronstein (aka Leon Trotsky). They went in the palaces.

They invented and ran the GULAG, where they put the Goyim. There, they hand-picked slaves for themselves there, for rape and ritual sacrifice.

Those were the days! Just like today in Gaza, the Ukraine and the USA.

Martyn's avatar

Well, when you put like that….

Wise Old Woman in the Woods's avatar

so how does this dovetail with the country's infamous S&M culture?

Freedom Fox's avatar

Even Ursula & Heiko are big into the S&M culture!! They even made a movie!

I know, ahead of time, that I am *going* to *regret* clicking on that link. And yet, I am going to do it anyway. Because I am an idiot. 🤣🤣🤣

...

OK, that was actually far funnier than I expected.

:D :D :D

No "Artificial Intelligence" used, just "Dumb Photo Editor." Does that bring the felony charges down to misdemeanors in Germany?

Mitch's avatar

what about foot fetishes? any pics of someone not wearing shoes can get 2 years in the pen.

Freedom Fox's avatar

Why is it that it's always #FakeWomen who push #FakeNews and #FakeSafety. "Stefanie" is clearly, obviously, unmistakably "Stefan." No matter how much makeup and how feminine the cloths are, they can't hide their Adam's apples.

It's a DUDE! A mentally ill, gender dysphoric DUDE!

Twink Stefan!

As for Leonie...I hope this isn't what she's Big Mad about?

https://i.imgflip.com/ans26d.jpg

Awww, who am I kidding, I hope this IS what she and Twink Stefan get Big Mad about!!

We MUST mock and ridicule these people. Unwelcome in civilized society.

DMuaddib's avatar

It's almost as if they are working towards forcing women into burkhas.

la chevalerie vit's avatar

The root cause here is cleavage. All German girls henceforth to be put on puberty blockers before they turn the dangerous corner to becoming women.

Danno's avatar

Ambiguous laws are the favorite tools of tyranny.

Epaminondas's avatar

The vagueness is the point. Otherwise, you can't use it to prosecute people that you don't like.

Mitch's avatar

"This is MAGA country!" comes to mind.

ZuZu’s Petals's avatar

Eugyppius, I have trouble computing “HateAid” - I always have to think to myself “What the hell does this actually mean?” These people are unhinged.

Gary Edwards's avatar

It would mean exactly the opposite, as in "Unhate Aid"

Orwellian at best.

What is it about democracies that they spend a big chunk of their time and energy trying to arbitrarily restrict personal freedom? Needless legal complexity is the sworn enemy of individual freedom. The fewer laws, the better.

And why is it that “democracies” always wind up being controlled by elite groups? Can you really have a democracy and political parties at the same time?

Danno's avatar

In any democracy a permanent class of bureaucrats is needed to actually run government services. Those folks inevitably include some entitled assholes who believe that the power that goes with the responsibility for running things makes them superior to the public whom they are supposed to serve, and that oversight by elected officials is a nuisance. They are able to use their power to curry favor with the existing elites and together they find ways to control who may become an elected official.

Rikard's avatar

Suggestion for German feminists, Greens, socialists et cetera:

Wear a burkha. You're going to be forced to anyway, in a few years time, the way you are running things.

PS: "...the clothed female breast area of anyone." Does this mean that German police and courts can define what female is?

Pat Robinson's avatar

That’s actually the end point of this and the feminist/insane will support this because it “frees” them from the looks of men.

Full circle, they agree with the Islamists and as a result will be banished out of sight.

They really are that stupid.

Speaking as a man, I'm not sure I feel Germany is a safe space for me any longer.

fiendish_librarian's avatar

This from a country that produces GGG (do *not* look that up from a work computer), and I vaguely recall having nudity in general interest magazines and prime-time television. Is there some neo-puritan movement emerging in Germany as a result of, um..."demographic changes"?

Robert Dyson's avatar

This is what governments do when they cannot cope with the basics - making sure there is a prosperous economy producing useful things and services that people need; making sure citizens are safe on the streets. As oil and gas and fertilizer run out expect more of this.

bgt's avatar

The hysteria around this case has been bizarre to witness; something right out of the height of Me Too. Feels astroturfed as hell especially with it being used as a cudgel for passing schoolmarmy laws that have materialized suspiciously fast; though I suppose one also should never underestimate the ability of vacant D list celebs, inflooencers and feminists to whip themselves up into a real frenzy. A bit of both at play it seems. As usual everything is so terribly undignified and childish and asinine and embarrassing. At least Snicklink got a couple funny videos out of the whole thing.

Jeck's avatar

Stephanie Hubig - that photo - are you sure that's not a man?

Viv's avatar

This is Germany. No doubt there are many deepfakes of this person circulating in the seedier corners of the internet.

Thibaud's avatar

In all seriousness, among the victims of the trans fad are mannish-looking women, especially with strong jawline, who everyone would have recognised as women before 2015, who are now under the eternal suspicion of being transvestites.

Jeck's avatar

No doubt about it. And I'm sure that the malicious fiends behind the trans fad are delighted by this as well.

Henrybowman's avatar

I'm not positive that's not Manuel Hagel.

Wendy Lee Hermance's avatar

It certainly is a strange looking person.

Andrew Marsh's avatar

Stephanie Hubig is very probably all woman, although that jaw line would look rather good on a man as well.

So much for ever advertising "The Seven Year Itch" again in Germany.

Tardigrade's avatar

So much for advertising anything at all.

Will they raid every auto mechanic shop in the country to confiscate their calendars?

SCA's avatar

Thank God you and I are old enough to have enjoyed cheesecake and beefcake everywhere. Sad sterile world being forced on the young now.

Until that entire legion of the internet police, (HateAid, Correctiv, et al), along with all its enablers are thoroughly disgraced, dismantled and decimated the beatings will continue, and only grow more irrational and insane - if that’s even conceivable. Never underestimate the diabolical mind.

Wendy Lee Hermance's avatar

Excellent reporting on the mad hatters running Europe now. Thank you.

Jane Kuehn's avatar

These people are a cult and truly insane.

I note no one has been able to confirm that these deepfakes actually exist.

If this is indeed the case, I am humbly prepared to take on the onerous and distasteful task of attempting to verify or not these claims, subject of course to the requisite research budget being available.

ThePossum 🇬🇧's avatar

Quick! Send emergency twerking videos to German government ministers, pronto!

I have no idea why but your comment caused me to think of the Miley Cyrus “wrecking Ball” video.

...prosecutions would normally be initiated by criminal complaints from purportedly “victimised” [parts], but also provides that authorities can proceed with charges on their own in cases “of particular [pubic] interest.”
