Look no further than Canada, the liberals had a minority government and were a few seats short of a majority. So they enticed, bribed, threatened (who knows) a couple of opposition members to cross the floor (which unfortunately is legal in Canada) and TADA the liberals have a majority that doesn't reflect the will of the voters. So to sum it up in Canada electections are now meaningless as they politicians can do what they want to gain power. Not the same as in Germany, but the woke retarded leftists will find a way to undermine democracy
Canadians, like Germans, are wonderful people that seem doomed to lousy governance. Canadians should be more wealthy than the Norwegians. Only 40 million people, on the 2nd largest land mass on earth, sitting on a King's Ransom of oil, gas and other valuable minerals.
When one of the least densely populated nations on earth, half covered in timber, has a housing shortage coupled with an affordability issue, it is only because the government has created the situation.
Canadians didn't just win the natural resource lottery, they won the neighbor Lotto as well. Canada's toy military of 70K people can exist, because the US is standing watch. The entire world is well aware, regardless of Trump's bluster de jour, if they mess with Canada, they will answer to the American military.
The Americans next door not only blanket Canada in free national defense, we will buy anything. In our kitchen, the German stove and dishwasher sit on a beautiful Canadian hardwood floor. Ditto for much of the neighborhood.
Born on 3rd base, the Canadians can't seem to make it home. Germany was the development miracle of the world, due to the speed at which they repented, rebuilt and enriched themselves after WWII. The now both share the same disease, decades of lousy governance. Let's hope for their sake, and that of the world, they both find a cure soon.
Canadians are the idiots who keep on voting liberal. Liberals are pro mass immigration and anti natural resources. The woke mob is running the country.
excellent insight. Looking at the location of their population density supports that. Consider the number of Canadians who cross the border to obtain healthcare in major US cities, which acts as a pressure valve for their failing healthcare system.
I don't think these people should be referred to as "liberals" any more. A more fitting descriptor is "radical leftists", and that is what I always call them now.
I live in Germany, I'm not sure that this is the case. Those people already sympathetic to AfD or their voters might have been encouraged by Trump. But for most others, partly due to biased media coverage, Trump's policies have been a huge turn-off.
Enh, honestly, I think he could have had better timing on that one as well. I mean, don't get me wrong, I am *actively opposed* to the idea of incorporating Canada, though I did draw up an amusing map for myself of "Greater America" that left a Rump Canada that was very small, and included most of the NE USA, and otherwise had us yoinking everything north of the US - Mexico border, but he would have done well to let Canada have a much better chance of having their *own* "Trump Election Moment" and get some sane people in power.
Or, hell, maybe it's 37D Chess again, and he engineered Carney's win to make it *ultra clear* to more Canadians just how fucking horrible their government is.
But I suspect it was more Trump Foot In Mouth Disease. He's *good*, I absolutely grant, but he's hardly fuckin' *perfect*.
Reasonable take, Warmek. Hes far from perfect. And he often makes my ass pucker.
I will say this, most of his ridiculous rhetoric is to get the Left to react outrageously so that people who are in the middle can see how ridiculous the Left is.
Just look at the Washington monument pool.
He's proved me wrong several times before when I cringed that I usually give him the benefit of the doubt.
But, as much as I can't stand Mueller, he should've kept his big mouth shut when he died.
Thats where I draw the line. That was stupid, and did him no favors.
May I respectfully suggest, voters that allow an off the cuff comment by the loud mouth 80 year old, term limited Queen's builder US President, to drive their decisions in the voting booth, have bigger problems than the 48 month nut job next door.
Most Americans recognize Trump's trash-talk for what it is - red meat to distract the rabidly hostile media. Not that many Canadians get it. Maybe if I called it peameal bacon?
I would say that Canadians were humiliated much worse during the covid madness by the 'liberal' regime and their tyrannical edicts. People have short memories
But saved by the courageous truckers. In fact, I'm willing to give them credit for ending Covidian regime worldwide (with the exception of Ivy League college campuses).
The CPC lost because Poilievre is a career politician exactly like every other career politician in the uniparty. This guy couldn't even win his own riding.
They're not culturally homogenous any longer. 20% of the population is made up out of migrants or are children of two migrant parents, and the vast majority of those migrants are non-European ones (and I don't mean S/N Americans or SE Asians).
And Norway is suffering from the calamities caused by the sand-people clans operating out of neighbouring Sweden, while its polititicians and police wring their hands impotently and cry out the usual litany of feminist, multiculturalist melting pot-fallacy claptrap-slogans...
...because the truth is racist.
Not to mention Norway is a nation with its own oil & gas supply that's managing to experience such a lack of oil and gas that rationing has been discussed publicly by officials.
Canada might be an even greater mess though, I don't doubt after reading John Carter's reports on his Postcards from Barsoom-substack these past years.
Correct in that the cracks in Norway are happening as they have allowed mass immigration, but compared to the US and Canada, they are still very culturally homogenous. Roughly 95% to 96% of the population in Norway speaks Norwegian as their first language. 75% of Canadians speak English as their first language. 78% of Americans speak English as their first language.
For a real cherry on the multikulti-crapcake, look at Sweden:
800 000 illiterates out of 11 000 000 inhabitants.
All of those 800 000 are non-White migrants or children of such.
Weekly bombings, almost daily shootings. For 2025, over 500 senior citizens in assisted living housing were raped by men of Afghani, Arabic or Negro race.
Female Sweds are voting for the libtards that support mass immigration... which makes me think that female Sweds dream of being raped by bearded Muslims and African blacks.
Canada also has treasonous "Anti-Semite Legislation", something wholeheartedly bigoted when considering the Canuck govmnt institutions that abused the Indigenous.
But, Canuckistan and Fatmerica have much in common: we both exercise our "democracy" election after election hoping for a difference.
Instead of sticking with retard Turdeau Canadians could have tried conservatives. Are the perfect, no, but better than the liberal shitshow and corruption.
Carney just won recently because of the liberal and media brainwashing and trump derangement Syndrom. Listen to quiet a lot of Canadians, buy anything but stuff from the USA - suddenly the climate change scam and global emissions don't matter.
ALL supported the CoronaPrank, "Slava Ukraini" and the Palestinian Genocide."
I'll parse it out this way:
"The "Designated Authority of Canada" determined that a potential mass murder of its citizens is in the best interests of Canadians."
Not one Canadian political party would speak out against the Global Zionist push to get everybody vaccinated with Zionist created experimental injections.
I can never help relating everything back to my own experiences. In my life I've always taken a lot of crap right up to the moment where I stopped taking it.
That seems to be happening in Germany, doesn't it? People reach their limits with letting other people--the ones they elect to purportedly make society run well--fuck them over. And the tipping point is always invisible until the moment everything spills over.
Wishing the very best to Germany's east. They took more than enough crap fer shure, for an awfully long time.
Ironic that the East Germans may be the ones that finally turns Germany into a properly functioning democracy. No more the SFD/Grune tail wagging the German dog.
Well, we should of course remember that the Stasi succeeded so well because people routinely informed on their families and friends. Revulsion against wretchedness ought perhaps to have reached critical mass a little bit sooner.
Many East Germans were also repulsed by the values, actions and behaviour of the West, and felt Zio-influenced enforced governance to be anathema to their lives.
I'm sure those that survived WW2 and are still living can tell the contrasts between what they "suffered' and what they now are "suffering".
I'm sure the Weimar Era was studied hard in East German schools.
'I'm just trying to be supportive" (Parenthood, 1988)

reluctantly, yeah...
I had a couple of customers that were Israeli (24 years removed), they were so supportive of my messages on my shop window (and were surprised at what I presented ie. I knew stuff) and the only request was please don't associate us with the Zios that have deliberately gone out of their way to do evil.
Most people can be pushed only so far, and then they say, 'this far, and no further.'
"At 70 years old, if I could give my younger self one piece of advice, it would be to use the words 'fuck off' much more frequently." Helen Mirren - sage advice from a beautiful person.
I think in the not too distant future, we will look back and see just how absolutely transformative Trump has been for the US and the world. He is redefining the art of politics in the post-WW Eleven era by showing the value of blunt speaking and then doing exactly what he said he would do. He is single-handedly dismantling the entire 'woke' industry by showing them they have no clothes. He is telling the bastards who would rule us exactly what he and the rest of us really think of them and their failed policies and programs.
Is he right every time, all the time? No.
Are there times when I wish he hadn't said this or that? Yes.
Back in the Fall of 2015, I was talking with one of my very liberal brothers and he was laughing about the "total absurdity" of Trump running for President. I said that I didn't think he had much of a chance against the Hillary machine but that I would love to see him get elected just to watch the show.
I first visited the UK in 1973 and I am really, really heartbroken for everyone I love and care about over there now experiencing the results of many many years of not grasping reality in time.
Reform UK are the ONLY party who have any grasp of the reality of the situation the “Uniparty” have deliberately put us in. There will be a big reckoning over the next few years in the UK as Reform UK gain momentum. The scales are being removed from ordinary people’s eyes. We can’t continue down this route, being the welfare Nirvana of the world.
I can't pretend to know much about the policies of the various parties in Germany; eugyppius has expressed some disillusionment with AfD recently.
However, it is refreshing to see the rise of AfD in the polls if only for the increasing obviousness of the fact that the people are getting more and more dissatisfied with their government.
It does feel like this being-fed-up-with-wokeness is happening world-wide, don't you think? At least on my more optimistic days, that's what it looks like. The tipping point could come at any time, in a few days or several years, we can never know. Western people are absolutely fed up with this bullshit, despite the loud shrieking of the minority Lefty supporters. I just hope the tipping point comes with a minimum of serious violence, and leaves us with some good, stable changes.
Well, historically people resist giving up their religion even while being kebabbed or french fried so we're not at critical mass yet.
And the Precious Constituencies depend to an overwhelming degree on civil service, public and private university administrative and patronage and NGO jobs and there are an awful, awful lot of those jobs. As that recent article in the NYT showed, these people who earned ridiculous salaries are completely unfit to compete in a normal job market. You get all these 60-yr-olds learning for the first time, since they graduated college, that they have no useful skills.
I feel a bit frustrated myself because I was always just an ordinary person working ordinary non-professional jobs and the vicious idiocies of DEI and critical race lunacies have been infesting everything since the '60s and conservatives have done zero over that time period to stop them.
My notorious FFFG, as a freshman planning to pursue a pre-med track at one of our very best NYC public universities (and it was at that time still a superb institution) at the tail end of the 60s was very angry that she was forced to pay for a copy of Eldridge Cleaver's "Soul on Ice" for a required humanities course. Why did the trustees allow the deranged wing of the faculty to submit students to thug liberation "literature?"
Once the termites have chewed through your foundations it's a bit late to notice the little soil piles they leave everywhere as a telltale trail. The costs to remedy it and the time required to fix it are pretty considerable.
When I'm not feeling wildly optimistic, I realize how long it may take to reach that tipping point, where everyone just stops going along with the nonsense. Be nice to see it in my lifetime, but might not happen. The rot goes deep, but the reaction against it is also deep. We'll see -- things like the continued rise of the AfD encourages my optimism. Things like Muslims closing NYC streets with prayer parties wipes out my optimism. And so it goes.
Well, as further anecdotal evidence of why conservatives have failed us:
Over 30 years ago when it was time to send my kid to kindergarten, to the public school just down the block that was in one of NYC's best districts, parents were camping out on the sidewalk to register their children and I thought to myself that if classrooms were going to be so crowded, and it would be a crapshoot what sort of teachers would be in them, and with a smart little child who'd taught himself to read and write before nursery school and wouldn't be likely to suffer fools gladly, I'd better put him in private school despite the financial sacrifice.
And I remain now and was then a liberal, and had worked in a private school 20 years earlier and knew they were full of moron teachers too, but even so I felt it was worth it to pay the tuition money.
And we keep reading, every day, of religious/conservative parents whining about the boys being allowed in the girls' bathrooms and on their sports teams, and yet just keep fighting the school boards that hate them and their children as they keep sending those kids to those schools where every outrage against biological reality and good pedagogy is hourly perpetrated.
If people won't fight for their own children what will get them to the tipping point? If you figure that out let me know.
I put no hope in conservatives, no more than I do in liberals. What gives me hope is finding little cracks in the facade, like recent polls that show over 50% of US citizens, in all categories (age, sex, financial), are now showing themselves leaning "independent" politically, rather than following Republican or Democrat. talking points. I think we have to get away from these 2 sides, which have become incredibly polarized and useless. Clearly many of my fellow citizens feel the same, and I like that.
Whether that will translate to action and real change, who knows? But it's nice to have these crumbs of hope.
Ah yes, the school system...that's another can of worms! Public schools have become nothing more than indoctrination centers, the only sane choice is to home school, unless you find a good private school. Neither political side is addressing that issue in any meaningful way. Something has gone terribly wrong with the way we raise our children. As you say, if people won't fight for their children, what on earth will wake them up enough to take action? I don't know. Definitely a bleak outlook when considered from that point of view.
This is great news! Can you spare a few AfDs to send to Canada? They can just show up as illegals, no need to speak English (or French) and a Koran and maybe a decorative burka or at least one of those fashionable Palestinian tea towels would smooth the entry. We REALLY need an alternative to the WEF front man. Maybe say how much they hate Trump so they can’t go to the US?
Speaking as an American, we have to some small degree, overcome the uniparty of Biden with Trump.
But we have by far not reached nirvana. Lots of rear-guard actions to fight, and we have not fought all successfully. And, under our system, Trump is out in 2028 (replaced by another Republican??), and if the Republicans lose the House and Senate, then Trump will be like Gulliver chained down by the Lilliputians this year!
But the real issue is: can Common Sense win over ideological delusion?
And that still is far from clear in the US.
The corruption of Federal and State spending seems endless. It will not be possible (a) to find it all in Trump’s term, nor (b) to establish safeguards on future corruption of spending that will withstand a Dem admin.
And a LOT of this corruption is FUNDING agents (eg, NGOs) for the destruction of Western Civilization. (Thank God they are mostly incompetent.)
Next: the courts are corrupted, and are mainly a control institution for leftist values and highway robbery by the Trial lawyers.
Next: our children are corrupted. They have been lied to, taught leftist values with endless propaganda, and taught no history (I generalize).
These factors (and more) make the current “Victory of Common Sense” tenuous. And the Left (and Leftist donors worldwide) prepare to re-take the Hill in the US.
Some good news: there are no leaders on the Left now with the slithery tongue of Obama, who lied so easily and effectively.
Western world: save yourselves and use our imperfect example NOW. We cannot keep these floodgates closed much longer without your help. (Ex: how is it possible that we now have Mamdani as the mayor of New York City? Could we have a more powerful symbol of suicidal empathy?)
Well said indeed, all valid points....Mamdani as mayor of NYC is almost incomprehensible to me, and indeed symbolic of a slow unraveling of American governance, also symbolic is the hideous middle finger to America of the Obama presidential library.......
It seems inevitable that New York City will disintegrate. The only question is, can it happen quickly enough to provide a useful example to the rest of the country. It's already too late for California, apparently.
"Speaking as an American, we have to some small degree, overcome the uniparty of Biden with Trump."
Delusional. The Zio-Kikes are thick as Bunker crude operating in your govmnt, Trump the Bloviator is in declining mental health, and Fatmericans continue to scapegoat than actually deal with America's problems.
Eugyppius: thank you again for this piece and all your work.
What do you think about comparing Britain and France with Germany?
I think there are interesting parallels and also differences.
More importantly, whoever “breaks the dam” first and returns to common sense (or a lot more common sense) will, I think and certainly hope, inspire the others to do the same. Hence, this is a useful topic. (Well, big topic. Many smaller topics beneath that.)
At some point people will show their will to survive.
And the present system has all the markings of a suicide pact.
There does seem, in some people at least, a will toward death, to die.
If one wants to see healthy mammals, healthy systems, healthy human society, one asks: how much of this “suicide pact” is mostly conscious and deliberate (“I hate myself”), and how much is it delusional understandings of reality, bad thinking (maybe from propaganda), and subconscious self-hatred (eg, “I failed X person, and so I must be punished “).
These seem useful questions if we are to help turn this ship around.
Western civilization, self-critical as few others are, is still a delight and a wonder!
Our genes are still strong, we deserve to survive as mammals.
And our culture (yes, with some imperfections) very much deserves to survive.
The leftist (fundamentally communist) desire to destroy western civilization is hugely delusional. That is, designed by weak men who had no clue, and a path followed by people who never learn from all our experience (bad) with communism and socialism.
It is certainly true that Western Civilization is imperfect. But communism and socialism are far worse.
To some degree, Germany is special. To put it simply, it must live down having put up with Hitler and Hitlerism.
The German people must parse this crazy attempt to install a regime that greatly reduces freedom (and sensible policies) — in order to save politicians’ power. On the grounds that we can’t repeat the Nazi era. Yes, it is delusional to think AfD is a return of the Nazis.
May God help Germany and the West get through this period. May God inspire wise leaders to come forth and lead us out of this wilderness. Probably not one Leader, but rather a group of leaders.
The voyage through has so far happened gradually. And we hope soon, for Britain, France, and Germany, it will soon be “and then suddenly.” (Hemingway)
The big broom will probably require a lot more public support than a mere majority of the population. When Trump was elected, I had high hopes for DOGE. They did succeed in turning over the rock and exposing a lot of the creepy-crawlies underneath, but their efforts were largely nipped in the bud, as near as I could tell.
There have already more or less subtle hints that voting for AfD Is Not The Done Thing. One politician even mused whether an AfD-led state might not mean that people from this state would not be admitted to university or that school leaving examinations might not regarded as valid in the other German states. Surely a form of blackmail: if you vote for AfD, you or your children's educational path might be negatively impacted.
'..they have stumbled into another closed dysfunctional political trap where votes are a mere pretence – a mere 35 years after they escaped the last such trap...'
If the AfD doesn’t like America, great! They will stand up a proper German defense force and the ugly Americans can go home and buy German cars— oops, soon they won’t be made anymore due to green deindustrialization?
QUOTE: [Germany] should support [the U.S.] against the Shia theocracy ..."
Your noble and selfless concern about the "Shia theocracy" is most touching. Educated people outside the Washington DC Beltway refer to this vast and impressive country as "IRAN."
So you're saying that after the U.S. bombed the Nord Stream pipeline to cut Germany off from CHEAP AND RELIABLE NATURAL GAS from Russia, Germany should now jump in to help the U.S. DESTROY ANOTHER COMPETING SUPPLIER OF AFFORDABLE ENERGY. Got it.
The stage was set for all the recent energy drama by DECADES OF ANTI-NUCLEAR PROPAGANDA and subversion by well-financed astroturf groups and political stooges worldwide leading to the shut-down of reliable, clean, nuclear power stations that do NOT to emit masses of CO2 and particulates into our air, water, and soil.
The same groups spent decades preparing the deliberate swamping of Germany and o ther Western countries with millions of male Third World "refugees."
I agree in theory as long as this doesn't turn out to be a forever war- which looks more likely every day. I'm, however, glad the Gayatola was taken out. The regime was a menace.
Maybe pull your head out of your ass. They finance terrorists groups and cells all over the world and have been behind many of the terrorist attacks in Europe and the US. Didn't we have this conversation before where I even gave examples? I didn't hear a peep after that, but here you are again pretending that Iran is just an innocent victim of Israeli and US aggression
Some like Americans, some don't. What's important is that they love Germans and Germany. Expel the migrants AND the US military. Govern in the best interests of the German people.
And “that trap” described by eugyppius here is the exact same trap the Left and the weak Right has been using for the whole 21st century all over the Western world. Socialism is not compatible with Western freedoms. As soon as people realized that, the Socialists everywhere stepped up their replacement strategy, bringing Third World immigrants en masse to replace the naughty natives not bending to the Marxist rule. We’ve reached the end of the line. Their game is over. Everywhere.
I wonder how the effect will/would be for the federal government. Will it mean they close their ranks and muddle through the last years, happy with their salaries and pensions? In a mood of "Oh, when you voters are so stupid and defect to the AfD we don't give a shit anymore!" Or will it break up the coalition?
Here in Sweden, when the Sweden Democrats tried to get the various civil servies to do their jobs in accordance with the new directives and rules laid down by the government, a lot of the leadership of said servies et c outright refused.
And the Moderate party, the one being in office with the support of the SD, caved immediately.
However, they have tried again, this time by putting in mandatory instructions in the regulatory letters governing the running of the state's various functions, making refusal to comply not only a firing offence but also a criminal one.
We've yet to see how it plays out up here, but since our civil services sector is largely based on (West) Germany, Sweden is perhaps a useful lithmus test on such matters.
Similar thing happened here in New Zealand. Post covid, a coalition of rightish parties formed a government. It's clear much of their modest cutbacks of the civil service have been resisted.
Right, that's what I often think about: It's one thing to win elections, another to govern, especially against an (old-)party affiliated bureaucracy hostile to you. You won't win this with the old "Beamtenrecht", the code and rules for the civil service; only by changing a couple of laws and threaten them with losing their salaries, jobs and finally freedom. Long way to go.
'It's one thing to win elections, another to govern, especially against an (old-) party affiliated bureaucracy hostile to you.'
Comments like this always make me think of the great BBC series Yes, Minister, in which neither side (politicians versus bureaucrats) covered itself in glory.

Canada is a suburb.
Not a pejorative, suburbs are generally nice places to live. But they aren't stand alone.

= globalist policies
I'm sure your elections are as rigged as the US.
The system itself is more rigged in Canada. In USA they have to cheat because the system as it was intended is much beter.
If they are not rigged they just fix them with floor crossinga afterwards
trumps 51st state insanity that stole a landslide for the cpc was the worst moment of his presidency.
Oh noes, Trump made Canadians do it!
Give me a break. Ya'll would be lucky if you were the 51st state.
It had nothing to do with taking over Canada.
What it did have to do with was encouraging Saskatchewan and Alberta to take their governance into their own hands.
Read the Art of the Deal.
Trump ain't perfect by a longshot, but he sees the threat of our neighbors becoming totalitarians.
Maybe Ya'll should take a page from the Irish and stick up for yourselves.
As a half-Canadian American, I laughed at Trump's remarks and dismissed them as more of the usual cross-border trash talk.
Exactly. People have lost their sense of humor.
A poll over the weekend showed 91% of Canadians believe Trump is responsible for their shitty economy.
Not their own communist leaders!
Yes, everything that goes wrong is Trump's fault
I’m American… and it was a complete failure that threw a lifeline to the liberal party that was on the verge of death
And BTW, I might be wrong, but I think maybe Trump and his populist movement have helped sane Germans to gravitate towards AfD.
Just remember this isn't just about America; its a global wide movement.
People have had enough.
I live in Germany, I'm not sure that this is the case. Those people already sympathetic to AfD or their voters might have been encouraged by Trump. But for most others, partly due to biased media coverage, Trump's policies have been a huge turn-off.
Learn to play the long game. Do you have any idea how much of Canada's resource wealth sits in/under the western provinces?
It's more like cutting your nose to spite your face. Canadians will pay dearly for this short-sightedness.
Would you be happy if Alberta broke away and became independent from Canada and America had access to the largest oil deposits in the world?
That might happen, cuz Alberta just announced it today.
Trump is far from perfect...but there's often a method to his madness.
That said he absolutely makes my ass pucker sometimes.

Thats where I draw the line. That was stupid, and did him no favors.
Trump's rhetoric led directly to the Liberal bump that won them the election.
Which reflects the stupidity of Canadian voters.
Well it looks like Alberta may be breaking away.
That's a win for both Alberta and America.
So there's that.
May I respectfully suggest, voters that allow an off the cuff comment by the loud mouth 80 year old, term limited Queen's builder US President, to drive their decisions in the voting booth, have bigger problems than the 48 month nut job next door.
As we say here, Trump lives rent-free in the heads of leftists. And, as to that 51st state business, how's that Alberta independence thing going?
(I wish there were emojis)
I think it's about time for a Trump emoji!
Most Americans recognize Trump's trash-talk for what it is - red meat to distract the rabidly hostile media. Not that many Canadians get it. Maybe if I called it peameal bacon?
yes I agree that Canadian boomers are trash, but it wasn’t just an off the cuff comment.. it was months of nonsense. Humiliation is not compelling
We spend a month in Canada every summer. All the Canadian boomers we have encountered are lovely people, like all the rest.
Not a Trump fan, nor do I believe for a minute he was serious, but why was it humiliating and not flattering?
Trump sees Canada as a beautiful place, full of wonderful people with vast untapped value. How is that insulting to anyone, but Canadian politicians?
It is possible, you know, to pick and choose amongst policies...
I would say that Canadians were humiliated much worse during the covid madness by the 'liberal' regime and their tyrannical edicts. People have short memories

The CPC lost because Poilievre is a career politician exactly like every other career politician in the uniparty. This guy couldn't even win his own riding.
He has his faults but he was running in Ottawa, a woke area and there is a crazed voting group that puts up hundreds of candidates to swamp a riding.
They say it’s aimed at govt but of course they didn’t do it in Carney’s riding.
Just another progressive pressure group attacking conservatives
Sure, maybe that will make you feel better about him losing the next election, too.
Have 3 years now to decide whether to swap him out
If Carney fails as I think he will then we are good
Norway is culturally homogenous. Canada is a mess of recent mass immigration. This, more than anything explains the difference.
And that's just scraping the surface.
Female Sweds are voting for the libtards that support mass immigration... which makes me think that female Sweds dream of being raped by bearded Muslims and African blacks.
We share the same disease, the ideal of being progressive.
Which means voting for every progressive idea no matter how bad everything gets, the solution is always to try harder.
This may be true but Canadian "Conservatives" aren't really a solution anyways.
Can’t agree. Compared to Carney, anything is a good solution. And I would be far put the Conservatives above “anything.”
In 2021 who in the Canuck federal election could one vote for?
This was the election which revealed that Canada has 4 colours of Uniparty!
Red, Blue, Orange and Green...
ALL supported the CoronaPrank, "Slava Ukraini" and the Palestinian Genocide.
The Greens Of Canada even defenestrated a candidate for leader for speaking out against Zionism: Dimitri Lascaris - now has a blogspot,
https://reason2resist.substack.com/
Canada also has treasonous "Anti-Semite Legislation", something wholeheartedly bigoted when considering the Canuck govmnt institutions that abused the Indigenous.
But, Canuckistan and Fatmerica have much in common: we both exercise our "democracy" election after election hoping for a difference.
Vote harder.
Instead of sticking with retard Turdeau Canadians could have tried conservatives. Are the perfect, no, but better than the liberal shitshow and corruption.
Carney just won recently because of the liberal and media brainwashing and trump derangement Syndrom. Listen to quiet a lot of Canadians, buy anything but stuff from the USA - suddenly the climate change scam and global emissions don't matter.
...and voting didn't matter.
What about the Canadian values?
"Red, Blue, Orange and Green...
Sounds familiar. Yet not democratic.
Show some guts, man. Say "Jew."
As in this beginning of a sentence: "The Best Bad Fairy, a Jew.."
'I'm just trying to be supportive" (Parenthood, 1988)
ROFLMFAO
sarc/on
reluctantly, yeah...
I had a couple of customers that were Israeli (24 years removed), they were so supportive of my messages on my shop window (and were surprised at what I presented ie. I knew stuff) and the only request was please don't associate us with the Zios that have deliberately gone out of their way to do evil.
And then there is the "Lindsay Graham Class"...
And then there's me, even after Pearl Harbor continuing to support the Japanese having their own country.
Happens all the time in politics. The same backlash eventually happened against pandemic lockdowns, DEI, illegal immigration, etc.
Not a sufficient backlash by far, though.
That backlash is still underway, but the sluggishness of it is rather disappointing.
Too many people--and a lot of us, previously--can't comprehend the long game.
In too many realms, humans are incapable of looking very far forward, or even backward despite documentary evidence.
It's mostly not being able to look around the corners.
Well, it's been quite a show so far!
Here are my pieces about Trump right now. They're short--comment-sized really--so perhaps it's not cheating to post them in reply.

I just noticed…redfoliot?
From a now obscure (if not completely forgotten) fantasy novel that remains one of my lifelong favorites.
Obscure is right. I did find a PDF which I downloaded and will give it a look.
DM me a link?
Don't be put off by the beginning which is a sort of framing device.
I supported Bernie Sanders in 2016, naïvely believing he would shake up the status quo. Because the status quo obviously needed shaking up.
Trump has succeeded where Bernie (in hindsight, just another status quo politician) never would have even made a dent.
At 50, I'd give my younger self the exact same advice.
Let’s hope the crap taking UK public start today to remove the crap Liebor and Conservative and “Green “ parties.
I knew the UK was in a bad way 24 years ago after a night or two in Bradford.
What do you think about the Restore party? Or is their main utility in helping normalize Reform?
I can't pretend to know much about the policies of the various parties in Germany; eugyppius has expressed some disillusionment with AfD recently.
However, it is refreshing to see the rise of AfD in the polls if only for the increasing obviousness of the fact that the people are getting more and more dissatisfied with their government.
Stir that pot!
Agree.
I think we who were born in the postwar world in the West were spoiled by that golden era to think everything was all better forever and ever amen.
This time-is-a-river thingy that keeps turning around and around is a little hard to live through when we get to the rough currents part.
I'm gonna have to check the targeting on my rooftop space laser. You keep popping up, like a noxious mushroom.
Ya don't like the criticism...
must be a Kike...
Violence the first response...

Change begins slowly then happens all at once. May God bless you Germany!
I suppose it will be hard to separate again after a disastrous marriage? Looking at Alberta trying to escape the Canadian disaster.
Possible subtitle: The end of our democracy!
Oh noes! Not the end of "OUR DEMOCRACY!!!!"
Ironic that the East Germans may be the ones that finally turns Germany into a properly functioning democracy.
No more of the SFD/Grune tail wagging the German dog.
'bad thinking (maybe from propaganda)'
Delete 'maybe'.
Worth keeping some Champagne (or Sekt) chilled, do you think?
Let's hope they win, and have the spine to bring in the big broom - Germany, along with many other nations, needs a thorough de-globalisation process.
> When Trump was elected, I had high hopes for DOGE.
So much this. It's what I'd been daydreaming of for something like thirty years. It... did not meet the actual hopes of said daydream. :-/
Well said!
'..they have stumbled into another closed dysfunctional political trap where votes are a mere pretence – a mere 35 years after they escaped the last such trap...'
I hope the AfD wins, even if they don't like Americans. It will tell Germany and the world that the votes of its citizens matter after all.
If the AfD doesn’t like America, great! They will stand up a proper German defense force and the ugly Americans can go home and buy German cars— oops, soon they won’t be made anymore due to green deindustrialization?
Who told you they don't like Americans? They don't want to be dragged into the US' conflicts or want US troops in Germany.
Both understandable. Although I would respectfully submit that they should support us against the Shia theocracy; it is in their interest to do so.
QUOTE: The [Iranian] regime was a menace.
Did Iran bomb Germany? The U.S.? When? Where?
Maybe pull your head out of your ass. They finance terrorists groups and cells all over the world and have been behind many of the terrorist attacks in Europe and the US. Didn't we have this conversation before where I even gave examples? I didn't hear a peep after that, but here you are again pretending that Iran is just an innocent victim of Israeli and US aggression
In the recent undeclared war on Iran, the U.S. murdered MANY THOUSAND innocent Iranians.
HOW MANY Americans were murdered on U.S. soil, say, during the past 20 years, in all of your "terrorist attacks" supposedly sponsored by Iran?
JUST GIVE A ROUGH TOTAL. ~3? ~7? 29?
Everywhere.
https://foreignlocal.substack.com/p/the-line-washington-drew
