Obama is showing how subversive he is. Shooter had a full manifesto and TDS social media trail, yet he claims "we don’t yet have the details about the motives". Same willful blindness with every Islamist terrorist attack.

Ryan Gardner's avatar

Yup. Disgusting individual.

The 3rd world has become the new 1st world.

The reason they hate trump is he is delegitemizing the system. He was never going to save us. He just made tge ruling class look like fools.

Whatever comes next this was a necessary revelation.

The reason they're going postal is it took the left 100 years to "long march" through the institutions. We are a year and a half into this administration.

The Great lightbringer Obama was supposed to be the greatest president since Washington . He has been totally delegitimized and will now be a footnote in history.

Its just one long tired toddler tantrum turned terrorism

Andreas Stullkowski's avatar

"Lightbringer" is the translation of "Lucifer".

Check out this headline from Axios (just one of dozens in publications today)

"Trump officials believed to be WHCD gunman's target, acting AG says"

No. You fucking dumbasses this is what the assailant said

SCA's avatar

Lucifer is a very greatly slandered figure.

Andreas Stullkowski's avatar

Yes, everyone who learns more about cannot help to admire him.

This is why "PAradise Lost" is a great read, and "Paradise Regained" boring.

Even in the bible he is not really the bad guy; just the smart, non-conforming one.

SCA's avatar

His role in the Bible is that of God's Prosecutor General.

Andreas Stullkowski's avatar

But also the adventurous one, tempting man with the freedom of knowledge and independence.

He's your REAL enemy. Pay no attention to the man in the yarmulke behind the curtain.

Pot smoking coke sniffing homosexual …and that is just for starters

Ray Noack's avatar

We never found out how Obama “ happened “ in 2008 . A pot smoking , coke snorting homosexual with no background was elected president and his opponent John McCain told a town Hall . “ Obama is a decent family man . An American born in the USA “…and this coming from …his opponent . Strange

Andy Fately's avatar

that's because if they cannot call something racist, they cannot understand why it would be bad

Tak tochna!

The Bluesky reaction to this, like the reactions to October 7, the Kirk assassination, etc. was as predictable as it was despicable. This is why I left Portland - these people don't just dislike us, they want us dead.

Is there a center that can hold? Looking less like it all the time, what comes next?

Ernest Judd's avatar

Remember all the countries that executed the Psychological Operation (Covid19, remember)

they were prepared to kill us, and in many examples are now showing us directly that they will kill us.

Thanks for pointing that out, Eugyppius.

Ryan Gardner's avatar

Scott Adam's was right:

They will hunt us down like prey when they get back in power

Ryan Gardner's avatar

Let me summarize the manifesto:

"CNN made me do it!"

Yesterday morning I just wanted to enjoy my coffee first before beta dudes with TDS start soaking through their tampons about it being staged.

They might just have well said:

"the assassination attempt was staged and I'm sad it didn't succeed.'

Make it make sense!

To have a room full of "journalists" they trust serve as witnesses to a failed assassination attempt and STILL see so many theoretically normal people speculate about whether it was staged reveals the true depths of Trump Derangement Syndrome delusion in our culture.

Rosemary B's avatar

and before they left the venue, they helped themselves to many of the bottles of wine to take home and enjoy

Ryan Gardner's avatar

Right?! They just didn't steal them they were chugging the wine out of the bottle.

There can be no better illustration of how completely out of touch they are.

These are the same people screaming about Patel being a lush!

Jules's avatar

They didn't steal them. They just couldn't let the good stuff go to waste. It does show a certain mindset though.

The wine at the 2026 White House Correspondents' Dinner was funded through ticket sales and donations to the White House Correspondents' Association (WHCA), with some cases contributed by brands. Following a shooting incident, guests were seen taking bottles from tables, which some defended as the wine belonging to attendees who paid for their seats

Ryan Gardner's avatar

So what you're saying is normal people have more class than our overlords

Tardigrade's avatar

Well, the bottles were open.

FCinNH's avatar

No. If you look at some of videos many of the bottles being taken away were still unopened.

Rikard's avatar

They were protecting the climate.

If they hadn't taken the bottles, they'd instead have bought new ones, and the already opened ones would have been poured out.

On a serious note:

The next attempt on Trump, which will come after November if the Democrats don't gain the House, will be not one but a swarm of attackers, Julius Ceasar-style.

After that if it fails will come the car-bombs; either in the vehicle itself, or in the street (manholes f.e.).

Growing up in Europe in the 1970s taught you a lot about political terrorism. One thing, the most important one: they won't stop until they are killed or imprisoned for life, in isolation.

Ryan Gardner's avatar

Ha!

Absolutely right. The Left has detonated 3 bombs on the Senate floor in the last 70 years.

The left went from funding the KKK to another assassination attempt—all in one week.

Imagine 2 years from now

As you know Marxism explicitly advocates for the use of revolutionary violence to overthrow existing systems; framing it as a necessary tool to hasten the birth of a new society.

Both Marx and Lenin emphasized that an existing system would not cede power voluntarily, thus making force or "revolutionary terror" inevitable.

This is just how Marxism works. Whether it be the 30's, 70's or now.

Mark's avatar

Patel is a hero. We should write our representatives to demand that he be awarded both the Medal of Honor and the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Absolutely!

"Donald Trump has now defined terrorism so broadly that dissidents, civil rights groups, and even the Democratic Party could come under scrutiny."

Well, that is where most of the domestic terrorism arises from. Add in a few Allahuh Akbars and its pretty much covered.

Once again, here come all the liberal morons saying this was a staged event.

These may be, thankfully and hopefully, their best. Soaking in fever-swamps of self-delusion mandating a slew of internally inconsistent impossibilities as indisputable yet mutable TRVTH may not be a great way to develop cognitive competencies. It just might degrade ability to think, foresee consequences, learn, or recognize two-by-fours of reality about to smack a fool on the back of his head. I don't know if any of these loons were arguably competent at some point in the past. But it seems the DemProgUnipartyYuroTard attempt to make at least a segment of their voters really stupid hasn't been entirely unsuccessful.

Maybe they are sending their. : )

Secret Service definitely has a problem. This is the 3rd time an attempt was made through the “outer perimeter” of security (Crooks - roof, Routh- fence line at golf course, Allen- metal detectors without even velvet ropes to slow him down as mentioned by Jeff Childers). The security genuinely sucks. The Epstein nonsense has devolved into TikTok brainrot for people, it is totally nonsensical and it is definitely leading to more violence. Obama and the Democrats/media have normalized extreme violence against conservatives and I have no idea how that can be stopped unless these jokers are shot dead live on tv as they try to commit these horrible acts. How do you get through the brainrot brainwashing? they even targeted Russ Vought (who is a genius, but I mean, how do the brainrot kids even know about him unless someone is specifically highlighting him?)

Link to chubby Secret Service lady from Butler at the Hilton attempt, sigh

Jules's avatar

Maybe we need an energetic German grandma in charge of security.

It seemed to me more of the classic American way of day-dreaming-at-life. Hello, wake up. There is real evil in the world.

The other option would be a grandma from the hood. On 2nd thought she might even be the better choice.

Charlotte's avatar

We have top notch Delta squads and Green Berets that would be itching to get a post with Secret Service. Those guys would have snipers even in the entrance, they’d never have a chance in Hell.Instead, we get chubby lady who struggles to get her gun holstered around her round frame.

Jules's avatar

I agree that this is exactly what we need. It is the obvious choice and I don't get it why we don't have it alreay.

My grandma comments were more tongue-in-cheek.

Tardigrade's avatar

I never heard of Russ Vought, so I looked him up. Among the top hits: https://www.propublica.org/article/about-russell-vought-trump-shadow-president

Charlotte's avatar

Russ is an absolute gem.

Tardigrade's avatar

'I have no idea how that can be stopped unless these jokers are shot dead live on tv'

You really think that would be a deterrent? It might be more of an incentive.

Rikard's avatar

"Why did you have real bullets?", remember?

As Charlotte points out, they are not living in real reality - to them "Ding as sich" is an alien and incomprehensible concept; instead their emotion about reality is reality.

Charlotte's avatar

I’m unsure. I think they are living in a video game/ facebook/bluesky simulation where they don’t see actual consequences to their actions. We need to see their families spat on and humiliated so they see the shame they bring upon their loved ones.

Halftrolling's avatar

show the bodies after they shit themselves (which happens to corpses). Make it as embarrassing and pathetic as possible.

But I do find it odd that this loser wasn't just shot dead auf der Stelle/on the spot.

Trish's avatar

My thoughts exactly. Those agents are trained to neutralize the target, how/why did 6 of them miss? If there were 5 or 6 shots fired, were they from the assailant’s gun? We know he shot one Secret Service agent, what about the other shots, did he fire them or did the Agents?

Peter Hönig's avatar

We know someone shot a SS agent. We‘ll never know if it was friendly fire.

Tardigrade's avatar

I'm just happy we have a live perp rather than a dead martyr.

Ryan Gardner's avatar

Exactly. Good point. Or may have another "summer of love"

bgt's avatar

Ever since The Files™ dropped everyone has turned into a schizophrenic.

jdm's avatar

Man, just think what life will be like for DJT and family after he's retired and won't have the supposed A-team protections that a sitting president would have. Those haters will still be alive and active... geez.

Rikard's avatar

What the crowd talking about staged assassinations don't understand - beyond lots of technical details, all of which would leave clues - is this:

How does the target know the assigned shooter isn't an agent for his/her enemies?

The obvious, almost Occam-obvious answer is of course "the target can't know that".

Try it on the people claiming it was staged, see what they say.

I've even heard hunters arguing "I could have made that shot" about when the wind-shear nicked Trump's ear, claiming it must have been faked because the shot missed. "I've downed mooses at far longer distances" was one thunderously stupid comment I heard.

Yah, I too could have "made the shot" from a prone position.

If: the target was stationary, if there was no wind, and if I was at the range and not in danger.

A roof overlooking a stage even from far away, and a target moving all the time isn't that.

PS:

(A pop-cultural aside: so-called reaction-videos to movies is a guilty pleasure of mine of late. When people watch The Thing (the Carpenter remake) they never fail to remark "what a poor shot" the Norwegian is. This includes Americans - apparently, people in general think that wearing gloves designed to protect against Antarctic cold, and snowglasses, and riding a helicopter, and trying to hit a running dog at 100 yards or more, is easy. I blame computer games for this stupidity.)

I look forward to the day when TDS is listed in the DSM.

Ryan Gardner's avatar

The problem is most psychiatrist have rabid TDS as well.

But I share your sentiment

Andrew Marsh's avatar

Could the exception for Kash Patel be on the grounds of height?

Tardigrade's avatar

I figured it was a nod to DEI.

Andrew Marsh's avatar

I thought it was solidarity with people lacking in stature...

Kash Patel gets plenty of air time on the Jimmy Dore show, mostly in an unserious way.

Tardigrade's avatar

Harder to shoot at over the heads of a panicked crowd.

Andrew Marsh's avatar

Clever. So that means future protection people need to be capped with a height of no more than 5 feet? After all, they can still fire vertically, although that's a bit fraught.

The new heightism guard would always get their shot given the advantageous proximity to the ground.

I had no idea Kash Patel was this level of genius.

Charlotte's avatar

I’m a bit concerned, not that he’s in on it, but he hasn’t fired the right FBI agents working against Trump. Since they moved the Secret Service to be under the DHS, it is overseen by the FBI and other governmental agencies that are full of people who are more than happy to leak details about the security plans. They really have to lock down that Secret Service better- it used to be under the Dept of Treasury, where is was much more buttoned down. Also, that chubby female agent from Butler was there again, sigh. No way she could pass a grueling physical, they need to get rid of her.

Andrew Marsh's avatar

I'm from the UK, not the USA, so did know any of this.

Thank you.

The Laydee does seem to be from the B or even Z team.

Overall the USA Secret Service looked a bit like National Lampoon - not quite a super slick image.
