SARS-2 and Paxlovid resistance; the vaccinator myth of myocarditis from Covid; the continued collapse of mask mandates in Germany; the coming Pfizer and Moderna 400% price hike
SARS-2 appears to be on the verge of evolving resistance to the widely over-prescribed Paxlovid, as indeed many suggested it might. Limiting use of the antiviral to avoid placing selective pressure on SARS-2 to develop Paxlovid resistance, however, would mean less money for Pfizer, so it’s not going to happen. It’s also not in keeping with the ways of the pandemicists, who prefer always and everywhere universal solutions and know nothing of strategy, prudence or moderation.
Slightly off topic from this post, but it appears to me that, when the dust settles eventually, the entire covid vaccination saga will have made people suspicious of _all_ vaccines on an unheard-of scale. What do you think?

According to Luigi Warren, he's a "monster of avarice" so this looks like par for the course.

Particularly, lymphocyte infiltration, as a hallmark of myocarditis, was not seen in any cases of this study. Thus, any sign of histological myocarditis was not proved in our Covid-19 victims’ cohort of the study.'
I have been on the lookout for a good study or two to link when confronted with the "wellllll, there might be a slight chance of heart damage in very, very rare cases due to the vaccine, but it's nothing compared to the high risk of it from covid" argument. Thanks.
Christina Berndt, who is, to use your terminology, some kind of evil genetic experiment crossing a clipboard-wielding head girl with a disapproving maiden aunt (and a good bit of evil fairytale stepmother thrown in), has also today come out against continued mask mandates.
Do they co-ordinate on this crap, or are they independently running scared?
Masks on trains are indeed ridiculous but here in Maryland (maybe other US states too), going to the dentist is one of the remaining mask mandated experiences still in place. You walk in to the waiting room wearing a mask and until you get called back.
Then for a teeth cleaning you take off the mask, a masked hygienist, sits with their face in your face as they blow out your saliva into the room via the water blasters. You can literally see it atomizing into the air.
But thank God the authorities make have kept those mask mandates in place because otherwise you'd be killing grandmas. 😒

As far as mask mandates or any mandate for that matter, making sense, all sense ended early 2020.

The CDC is only recommending Paxlovid for people at high risk. Not that I would take it. Very bad drug.

Never mind a price increase for an inoculation that few people want. US Medicare and Medicaid will reimburse the cost.
Plus, Pharma will foist a new anti-covid on us, as Paxlovid fizzles out.
