One prerequisite for that would seem to be to STOP governments from supporting the celebration of shameful things as "pride." Have a good time doing that.
There was that polling recently showing that the AfD is comfortably the most popular party among male homosexuals. The great turning away of the Gs from the Ls, Bs, Ts and etcs should really be studied but no one wants to talk about it.
This is a textbook example of demoralization: the whims and values of individuals are nudged in a certain direction, and they're infected with subversive ideas which make them dismissive of existing norms and traditions (even when they've been living with and benefitting from those norms their entire life). This is how you can turn a large, diverse, mostly apolitical mass into a passive pressure group for cultural Marxism.
You know, I got my first full-time job in 1968 and left my last one in 2001, and I don't think I ever worked in a place without at least one gay person, and over the years they got freakier and freakier from a starting point of basically normal but just with a same-sex partner. Our mailroom guy at that Japanese trading company in the late '70s and his partner were maybe the most devoted longtime couple I knew.
By 2001 the concept of loving fidelity seemed to have been shoved on the trash heap because as one colleague I knew insisted, it was just sex and having a sex-sandwich with your longterm boyfriend and a new find didn't mean in the least that you didn't love each other and, well, I disagreed with that perspective. I'd've disagreed if it had been a mixed-sex throuple too.
You younger ones maybe don't even know any normal gay people at all these days. It's too bad what the crazies have done. Of course there were always crazies, of every configuration. It ain't an issue of straight vs gay but of healthy and sick and anyone can be healthy, or sick.
Great write up. Not surprised you needed drinking glasses after that adventure.
And funny thing! I was invited to join/become a throuple back in maybe '70 by a woman I met in dance class. She and her husband were the adoptive parents of a mixed-race baby and she was feeding him some godawful vegetarian/vegan milk substitute to which I gently objected even though in those days I didn't know nuthin' about feeding no babies. Anyway she asked if I'd like to have fun with her and her guy (she knew I was married, by the way) and I turned her down.
It is true that the pup play crowd are unlikely to be products of spontaneous generation.
I always wonder what it was exactly that Glenn Greenwald's father may have done to him before he abandoned the family or perhaps it was the abandonment.
However, there's always been a group of men who were heavily into having sex with lots of other men which may involve drugs, alcohol and other stuff which most people would find unusual to say the least.
Yes, the libertines and degenerates. Society didn't use to attach a specific identity to that -- rather it judged and stigmatised the behaviour which meant those guys knew they needed to keep what they did behind closed doors.
At some point bathhouse culture became attached to a sexual identity and got brought out into the public. Now, we celebrate it and fund sex education material that presents it as normal.
Gay people who pursued monogamous relationships or who engaged in discreet romances always existed. They were usually unbothered by what society thought of them and were generally left alone.
It was the bathhouse degenerates who became the drivers of "gay liberation" in the 70s and 80s, because they wanted the police off their backs so they could freely pursue their vices. They had a point but remember, homosexual sex acts had been decriminalised by then. What the police were trying to do is enforce some sort of moral order in public spaces. Prostitution of minors and toilet hook-ups were rampant. Such activities were corrosive to society as well as presenting a public health hazard.
Eventually, the gay liberation movement became the gay rights movement, that is, once the activists at its helm realised radical slogans weren't winning over mainstream society. And it was at this point that normie gays were co-opted and made the face of the movement. Suddenly it wasn't about defending degeneracy but about promoting "equal marriage", "gay adoption", "love is love", etc.
I make these observations as a woman in a same-sex relationship, btw. I think "gay rights" has been a massive scam and, of course, it birthed "trans rights", which has been an absolute abomination for the Western world.
Sick people are sick. Healthy people are healthy. Heterosexual drug and alcohol fueled partner-swapping orgies are as bad as gay orgies. Straight guys fucking straight women in the ass are as likely to spread disease as two gay guys.
Gay or straight people in monogamous long or relatively long term relations are equivalent. They are likely to be healthy barring an unfortunately chosen partner.
Gay or straight people who fuck around like bonobos are equivalent and likely to be equally poxy.
I agree with your statement. But I also agree with Carol Ann. While heterosexuals engage in orgies too, it is more common among gay males because there is no brake. Men, in general, gay or straight, don't mind having sex without intimacy. Women, in general - not all, tend to want some level of intimacy. Gay men also used to have to hide, so solicitation of a stranger in a public bathroom was perhaps more common than it is now. When I have challenged several gay male friends about the gay male stereotypes, they confirmed that they tended to be true.
I have known quite a few gay and homosexual people, they are unrecognizable as such while in the street or store, I only know of 2 transgenders, both men wanting to be a woman. The first one years ago, was very slender, small, with fine hands and high pitch voice. He needed nothing but a wig (or growing his hair) to make a female. But recently I met a handsome man, who was transitioning. I wonder what he saw in the mirror when he looked in it - he would never, ever make a female. With his very manly chin, his low voice... how does he see himself as a woman. I feel sorry for him, because he will be an outcast in both worlds. At least he is old enough to realize - I guess him in his late 30s. It should be absolutely forbidden to mutilate or even medicate children or even youngsters - not until they are mid 20s. And not until hearing testimonies from people who did and were very very sorry. A few years ago someone had all the surgeries gone wrong, and committed euthanasia.
Much of it is fetish. That's why they come unstuck. Autogynephilia seems to drive most of the MtF people. So they don't really think they are women, they have just let their sexual hedonism get the better of them.
Instead, in Britain at least, and probably other countries too, they are busy passing laws that make it a criminal offence to dissuade (even your own) children from transitioning.
LOL - hilarious! You took one for the team. When you look at the photos, it’s a reminder what mental institutions were for, and at some point, will be again.
On another note how’s your new castle coming along?
As a teenager I went to the CSD in Cologne a few times. It was fun, reminded me of Carnival, but in summer. It was just a big party and I never felt unwelcome as a straight boy. I remember I hesitated a bit with the political demands, but I could see that there were still open issues. For example, gay couples paid higher taxes than straight couples. Also, we liberally used the word gay ("schwul") as a synonym for something being shit and called each other Schwuchtel in school. I never meant it in a bad way, but in retrospect I do feel a bit sorry thinking about how that could have made my gay classmate feel. But today, I'm really not sure what they want more before calling equal rights a fait accompli.
I don't need to go to a political protest fully appropriated by the government. I don't want to see pride flags on public buildings. The German flag is supposed to represent our entire people, all genders and sexualities included. I don't feel included in the pride flag. I hope this will eventually fizzle out. It's embarrassing.
However, I get why such events are fun for teenagers. Funny clothes, loud music, you can perfectly well go there and just treat it as a big party. Just call it a city festival or something like that, stop the pseudo-political gloss and virtue signalling and keep the fun and the music. That would certainly be more inclusive than channeling so much public money into the celebration of a small minority.
You know it's really over when people get bored with it, so this seems like a positive sign.
I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area in the late 60s and 70s. By High School, we all knew some gay or lesbian kids (mostly gay, very few lesbians), and it was no big deal. It was nothing at all. Of course, the 60s and 70s were wild times, lots of experimentation, it all seemed perfectly fine and normal as we lived through it.
The gay men I know now are not these rainbow-haired drag queen fetishists. Not one of them is happy about the transgender fad being pushed on kids. They are pretty much appalled by what has happened to the LBGT community. I know a couple of MtF trannies (yes, we called them that back in the day, it was affectionate, not an insult), who got started decades before the fad. I know one younger FtM transgender, she's the granddaughter of a good friend. The family are classic rednecks, conservative Catholic ranchers, but they accept the granddaughter's change just fine, no problems, because they love the child. Privately I hear from my friend that she's not that happy about it, but she's not going to make life hellish for the kid, she'd rather love her than hate her.
I should add that the FtM trans granddaughter was over 18 when she made the decision, she was in her 20s. Which at least makes it better than being in grade school. I don't think she's had bottom surgery, either, thank heavens.
If they would just leave the kids alone, nobody would care! Do what you want, but leave the kids alone.
“I missed such scintillating political hors d’oeuvres as a wreath-lying ceremony to commemorate the queer victims of National Socialism.”
Imagine laying a wreath to memorialize the martyrdom of Ernst Röhm and the rest of the SA. But I suppose nothing should surprise me anymore in this, the most democratic of Germanys.
My cousins took me to Hallowe'en evening in the Noe Valley (Castro Street) in San Francisco in 1979. There were various goings on about town, I recall a wedding at the theatre showing Rocky Picture Horror Show. This was the year before AIDS was recognised, the gay bars around town were evident and well-patronised. I was younger then, a bit naive despite my age, and found it very oriented to fun. The few police on foot patrol were not causing any concern, although one mostly naked chap had a cape carrier to wrap him as he encountered police.
We have come a long way in a few decades. Better living through chemistry? Our lecture on newborns with indeterminate genitalia eventually got to the point- It is easier to dig a tunnel than build a skyscraper.
I was there then. Working for my sister in an artist courtyard at 1850 Union Street. I was kidded sometimes as the token straight. I remember the SF Chronical stories about the four gay men in SF Children Hospital with some strange virus, they were there because one of the doctors was an expert in virus treatment. It's sad to think that many of my friends there probably did not live that much longer.
i also remember the advent of that virus. It was originally dubbed GRID -- Gay-Related Immune Deficiency. But it was quickly whitewashed to AIDS, because there are truths too inconvenient to be told. We were assured at the time that hetero people could also get AIDS (they could, but it turned out it was almost always from a bi partner or a transfusion from a gay donor). It was not unlike today's official fantasy that "men can get pregnant too."
The gay scene was wide open and wild in the mid 70's in San Francisco. Bath houses, a bar on Castro St with an upstairs containing torture devices. My then wife and I had accepted an invitation to join one of my coworkers at a bath house but had a last-minute babysitting problem and had to cancel. The next week the city closed them. I remember GRID now that you mention it.
A really good old fashioned CSD parade makes even the confirmed hetero, even the "I don't like the idea of giving or taking up the arse" wonder, if only for a few fleeting seconds, "why I not joining in, maybe?". The entire TQ+ alphabet soup added on circus is just totally offputting, and always will be. It's a more effective anti-sex movement than the combined forces of Orwell's anti-sex league and nuns and secondary school sex education lessons (and girls in secondary school) put together.
We really have to bring back shame in society.
The lack of it is an underrated factor in the decline of western civilization.
One prerequisite for that would seem to be to STOP governments from supporting the celebration of shameful things as "pride." Have a good time doing that.
Particularly wielded by women.
Particularly aimed AT women.
Specifically, AWFLs and Crazy White Chicks.
They are immune to shame.
QUOTE: We really have to bring back shame in society.
Indeed. It's all too easy to lose sight of the human fundamentals amid the din of targeted MSM distractions.
There was that polling recently showing that the AfD is comfortably the most popular party among male homosexuals. The great turning away of the Gs from the Ls, Bs, Ts and etcs should really be studied but no one wants to talk about it.
eugyppius nailed it by pointing out how boring all of it has become.
Isn't one of the AfD leaders, Alice Weidel, publicly gay?
Negative.
She is a far right Nazi racist.
Shacked up with a Sri Lankan girl.
I'm happily ignorant of queer-speak, but it seems that this would make her gay, at least by my knowledge.... 🤔
Ssshhh!! You fascist! 🤪
🤣🤣🤣
Why is delta upside down?
It was the only image I could find with my half-arsed search.
It irks me also.
There's a growing contingent of us L/B women who are anti-woke too and voting against leftist parties.
CSD 2026 = Sad. Clapped-out. Broken. Pointless. Next!
I note eugyppius once again undertook severe personal pain in order to present this report, which conveyed this very effectively.

That's rather compact, accurate and very good.

Right. As though the Soviets would have bothered to produce "trans-affirming" medications for anyone other than their female Olympic athletes.

Many such stories.
Unfortunately.
The Prime Directive is "don't fuck up your kids."
Pity so few parents seem capable of following it.

Also to remind you I talk about healthy, and sick.
There have always been groups of men and women who would fuck themselves blind too.
True but more common in gay male culture. I've never heard of lesbians picking up other women for sex in public toilets, for example.
Let me clarify.
Sick people are sick. Healthy people are healthy. Heterosexual drug and alcohol fueled partner-swapping orgies are as bad as gay orgies. Straight guys fucking straight women in the ass are as likely to spread disease as two gay guys.

"weird larps for insecure conformists and confused people" seems to sum it up quite nicely!
Haha. Indeed. Pretty soon it will be just the creeps.

On that point... Reagan has taken a lot of heat for closing government mental institutions (he was nothing like a linchpin, he was surrounded by a great rising tide: https://brendonbeebe.substack.com/p/did-reagan-defund-mental-healthor).
Along with the hopeless homeless, the people who organize these parades are the direct "beneficiaries" of those closings.
Did Germany undergo a similar push for deinstitutionalization at around the same time?
I'm asking for a friend. OK, it's really on behalf of my tinfoil hat.
Descent into decadence - maybe a bit like bankruptcy - gradually at first then suddenly.
Surely we must be near the end of the gradually.
God help us if we're not.
And if we're not maybe a very small tactical nuke might wake people up to what really matters in life - and death.
I think some Americans wanted to plant the fag flag in Moscow. Plenty of dead Russians and Ukrainians now.
Really glad that you managed to avoid the “FREE HUGS” bullet from the Rainbow Jihad.
You REALLY don't know where that's been.
