I just feel so weary now when I read these attempts to get us all panicking again. I will do what I have for the past 67 winters regarding vaccines - ignore them all!

Expand full comment

I'll be 71 soon and I take Vit. D. I have for decades and no flu, no colds, nothing since the early 1980s. I highly recommend it, as it's worked for our family. In 2020, I stopped getting vaccines of any kind, as my eyes have been opened to what could go wrong with OTHER vaccines, not just for Covid.

Expand full comment

Yes, I am 69yrs old and I have stopped all vaccines since 2020. I had great pleasure in ripping up my Pneumovax invitation letter from the NHS this year! Everyone no matter what age they are need to take a long hard look at all vaccines and their history, I have and it is eye opening and disturbing!

Expand full comment

Part of the reason for these recommendations is that there has been no one held to account for previous bad recommendations. The same cabal of mediocre medical “officials” still remain in power. Yes, some/most offices have had a change at the top, but it’s more of the same old, same old. Previous officials have not been held accountable and they know it is not going to happen to them either—regardless of the death left in the wake of their advice.

Expand full comment

For me it is ascertaining the risk reward for each vaccine and acting accordingly. I spent years feeling guilty about not re upping my tetanus vaccine without knowing my risk for getting tetanus as well as my chance of getting the disease. It’s like worrying about dying of food poisoning.

Expand full comment

I used to get the tetanus vax every 10 years, but then, I was a cook and cut myself on crap all the time. I had to get the DPT last time I got one, it's hard to get a straight tet shot anymore. I'm no longer cooking and am hoping the last shot from 10 years ago does me for the rest of my life. If I run a rusty nail through my foot, OK, then, I'll risk the shot, but now i'm out of the biz, I don't need it anymore for day to day life.

Expand full comment

Last time I looked into it they know that tetanus shot doesn’t actually need to be given every 10 years. Plus if they really believed you were at risk and that the shot had worn off there is immunoglobulin available. But they don’t give immunoglobulin for anyone who has had even one tetanus shot.

Expand full comment

Before you do that, check out the probability you will get tetanus. It’s not a forgone conclusion that infection leads to lockjaw.

Expand full comment

They haven't made the straight tetanus shot for a long time now. For many years, it was tetanus + diphtheria, but even that has now been discontinued. It's the triple shot or nothing - and like you, I've decided that nothing might be more prudent!

...especially given the actual risk of catching tetanus in a first world country, plus the reduced risk of getting scratched by a rusty nail when you get a bit older.

Expand full comment

Yes, agree. I'm "overdue" for a tetanus shot by 2 years...can't get just the T...has to be DPT.

Expand full comment

I guess I'm out of the medical loop. I didn't know you had to get tetanus shots at all. But then I haven't been to the doctor in 30 years.

Vanden Bosche had multiple dire warnings about this.

My problem with this is the foundational assumption that the covid shots work.

After the obvious failure following rollout, they blamed new variants. I ran into another male friend at the store yesterday. He was standing in line at the pharmacy, and asked me if I had ever had a shingles vaccine. I said "I don't get any vaccines anymore, and besides, I had chickenpox and shingles already."

He actually seemed interested instead of skeptical. "But shingles is no fun." Me: "Yeah, it itched pretty bad for a few days but I got over it." He looked thoughtful.

When I started this new employment on the 23rd of November, they instructed me and requested my

green card to prove that I've been vaccinated. The only reason I took the vaccine was because of work. No other medical checkup was done prior to taking the vaccine.

My left arm has been totally out of use from the day that I've taken the vaccine. The very same night I couldn't sleep, and um, it proceeded to the next night as well. I put up with the pain and the agony for the two nights, but like, on the third night I noticed that it was deteriorating.

The bubbles started here. Initially they started here [points to lower forearm] and then you could see they were developing.

During that time frame my hand was deteriorating and I could not use it at all. I couldn't bathe, I couldn't look after, care for myself, and groom myself so I went to my private doctor. Upon examining me, he went in and looked at my hand, it was in a very, very bad situation, it ran all the way down to my pointer finger, and he, he by sight only, he diagnosed that it was shingles. He gave me something to help me sleep at night and a few pain meds. He also prescribed to me an antibiotic.

Also black clots forming on my fingers and on my palm. Because every two hours there're like a sharp pain that just hits my entire arm, it's like a burning as when you get burnt but I can't simply run my arm under water to eradicate that pain.

I don't sleep at night, my arm is riddled with pain, I am constantly waking the family up. Even though the blisters have healed now, there's still pain of nerve running through my arm all the time.

I've been not working since the first of December. Due to me not being there for such a long period.

I am so afraid. [crying] I will never take another vaccine. Another, another [inaudible], another, I'd rather die. Get the covid, baby, I'll survive. But this unbearable pain and this disfigurement of my arm, because I'm somebody that dresses very well and very fashionable. Now the scars that scattered through my body, I don't think I'll be the same person again.

[crying]

I hope this opens up peoples' minds and their intelligence and I hope they do the right things for the benefit of their health.

Demented libs seem determeined to holla for big pharma and government dolla no matter what, regardless of all common sense, let alone real science! They have a 'govern me harder' vibe about them.

Slate... Pffft

I just read a debunk of the leprosy panic in Florida. It seems to be one man who had it for 5 years before he got tired of the rash, it occurred in 2022 and he is now healed. Read Jeff Childers.

It also mentions that only immuno-compromised people have a slight chance of getting it, read - multi jabbers. This older American person is certainly not lining up for whatever. If the jabbed people get the leprosy jab, it can CAUSE leprosy, like the jab for pox can.... if we see all kinds of weird sicknesses pop up again, at least we know why.

As to this girl, I suppose it makes good money, and no serious adult wanted the job. Never heard of Slate, sounds like another rag to put under the parrot

Either she doesn't know the jabs are degrading her fertility or she doesn't care because she never wants children.
