Maybe it comes back in the fall, but right now I feel enormously relieved, and in fact a great joy about this, like a man finally released from prison. A lot of people seem to have positively enjoyed or been indifferent to the past two years, but I found them to be almost unendurable.
The restrictions have been unforgivable, I won‘t ever forget what Merkel‘s government did.
DO NOT LET DOWN YOUR GUARD. Look at what is happening in Australia and in California. In CA the legislature is proposing bills that will take away free speech- Senate Bill 1390 prohibits any person/entity from making statements the State deems untrue or misleading by any means including on the internet or ads. Then they have Assembly bill 2098 which classifies anti-covid medical opinion as unprofessional conduct and subject to discipline by medical boards and potentially the loss of their licenses. And of course they still want everyone vaxxed- see SB871 and AB 1993. The bills require EVERYONE who wants to work or go to school to get covid vaxxed. All of this is being done with little notice and no attention from the MSM. They are also re-creating the Gestapo by a bill that would require law enforcement to enforce public health guidelines of lose their funding. There is more too about required testing and disclosure to third parties without consent. And oh yes, they want to make 12 year old children capable of consenting to vaccinations without parental consent or notification before or after!!
There is nothing we should be happy about until they are all in jail. They are giving us something back that they had no right to take away in the first place.
this whole plandemic was a sham. Yes, there are viruses and many are more virulent, yes, this one was most probably created in a petri dish, but I honestly do not believe that this is the very first manufactured virus. We just have to always be prepared to survive the actions of insane people.
News15 mins ago: Pregnant women next door (early 30s) in hospital with pregnancy "issues". While in hospital learns her father has died from heart "issues". Husband doesn't know which way to turn. Climate change is merciless.
It's not over in health care. The VA hospital is trying to void my religious exemption. The university system is just now implementing weekly testing for the unvaxxed. We have almost no patients in the hospital with covid. It is maddening that after working in a hospital for the entire pandemic I may lose my job now.
We're all prisoners sitting on an ocean beach. The waves have strangely stopped. The strangest thing of all is the water has receded back out so far..... poisonous pFauci-fish are numerous and flopping in the sun on the damp sand, their stupid mouths frantically moving but now no sounds come out.
Some prisoners from the beach are wandering out miles to see what else this mysterious tide has left behind.. Where has all the water gone?
Mask mandate gone in Hessen, most people still following it.
Went to favourite sushi place, we used to go almost every weekend. The last 2 years? Perhaps 3/4 times. I am very bloody minded about not having tests or proving vaccination status.
Some morons still putting masks on to stand up.
Shops in Frankfurt full of maskies, I was the only one without, but for the first time no one complained.
I don't give the remaining masking long, but the risk is this is a feint. The legal basis of this must be removed. In time, the maskies are not ready for it, there must be investigations and punishments. And there are still travel restrictions and such.
I suppose that on this post is an appropriate place to report my experience with vax mandates:
As an old and taxable U S person, I am in a position to make donations to various charitable organizations. Last year I donated to over 3 dozen of them.
This year, I am gradually emailing inquiries: Do you require your employees, clients, or volunteers to have been vaxxd, as I will not donate to such organizations? A few (notably archive.org and realclearfoundation.org) have responded that no, of course we don't require it. One responded saying no, we do not require it, but our entire board has been vaxxd (as if they did not understand my concern!).
Several simply did not respond, so I suppose they wouldn't qualify for donations. And the director of one responded that they do not require the vax but are "going to start a new policy of turning down donations from people who I’m aware are outspoken opponents of vaccine mandates."
I probably won't bother to make inquiries before donating to organizations formed largely to oppose vaccine mandates or to aid vaccine victims.
Let’s hope it goes away. I’m still waiting for the weird travel procedures to go away. As a non vaccinated German citizen living in the USA apparently I am allowed in with a test and quarantine but it’s incredibly poorly written (Beamtendeutsch), United told me they wouldn’t let me board 😱. I’d love to go back home and see family and go on long hikes in the forests whilst feasting on Ritter Sport 😂
Just got back from a trip to Atlanta, where the 1 in 50 people still wearing masks stuck out like turds on the sidewalk, but officious signs limiting elevator occupancy, etc, remain, and probably will until they crumble and peel away.
