The cold is out there in Munich? Damnation, that's unacceptable! Shut it down. Lock everyone in their homes. The new paradigm suggests we must, at all costs (if it saves JUST ONE life) completely suspend all human activities until these runny noses are no longer a grave threat.

If people stopped testing themselves there would be no cases!

If you have a cold but are not ill enough to go to the hospital, why test yourself?

It's not like there's a cure! Because it's a frigging cold and there have never been any cures for colds that actually work!!!!!!!!

I feel a little let down on this sad Monday morning. No overt personal attacks on Lauterbach. How am I supposed to feel better about myself when I can't read comments clowning on his appearance?

Actually, I am surprised anyone is talking about Covid in Germany. Deutschland is literally staring economic ruin and despair not seen in Europe in generations and people are worried about Covid there? Talk about cognitive dissonance.

Happy anniversary! Tomorrow is the 2nd anniversary of the Great Barrington Declaration.

https://gbdeclaration.org/

All the recommendations made two years ago have been proved true, no matter how much the US federal medical bureaucrats tried to discredit it.

Are these people ever going to get bored with being Covenideans?!

They'd get better results practicing witchcraft.

As long as PCR “testing” is used cases will never end. How many times does it have to be said that PCR is a analytical lab tool, it was never meant to be a diagnostic test for illness.

My GP tried very hard to frighten me into a vaccine. He actually told me because of my age I was high risk and should I get covid I would likely end up in icu and had a high chance of death!! I did not and will not get this vaccine. I’m retired and don’t mingle much but somehow after 2 1/2 years I did get covid. Can you believe it? I got it and survived!! Against all odds!! My god the hysteria that government has instilled in people is the danger. There are still people who refuse to look at evidence and continue to mask up, jab up and beg for lockdowns in fear of death. I have a cousin who has had her 4th jab and has had covid 3 times - the last bout lasting weeks! And yet she still believes the vaccines saved her and not what the evidence suggests - the vaccine has caused ADE and she is now a walking covid repeat.

I can't really get myself to bother rationally engaging these people anymore. I'm far more interested in the psychological motivations behind all of this.

It seems to me to be a puritan instinct with a thin veneer of rationality, as evidenced by how they responded when there were mass gatherings against "racism". It's the same thing that leads them to discourage loud music, singing in church, filling the skate parks with sand, discouraging people from going to the beach etc.

To me it looks like they're afraid of divine punishment at a subconscious level. I'm sure there are similar psychological mechanisms at work in all of us, but it's painfully obvious among the people pushing the hygiene theater.

This explanation makes the most sense to me, because the ones I have known personally, the most ardent believers who want to vaccinate kids and bring back all the hygiene theater, are also tremendous hypocrites when it comes to their other progressive values, silently earning six figure salaries by working as lobbyists for companies that contradict their overall worldview.

If it hadn't been for a certain other global intervention, then these sort of large events would simply have acted as a mechanism to achieve herd immunity years earlier; Granny could attend at own risk. Repeat infections were almost unknown, prior to the launch of that other intervention. Plus all the socialising and conviviality, as opposed to the fear and isolation, would have boosted immune function. Oh yes, don't test, even if they hate you for it.

How are government officials concerned about a common cold virus, but not everyone freezing to death in the winter?

The Covidians will always cherish the mythology. It satisfies their misanthropy. They view humans as, first and foremost, disease vectors.

The question should not be whether there are occasional peaks in infections, but rather how the overall rates (both peaks and averages) compare with a control group. And what might that control group be? How about the historical rate for non-COVID influenza? You know, the ol' "garden variety" flu for which people have gotten annual flu shots for years. If you want to know whether you have an exceptional event, your benchmark has to be something that remains fairly unremarkable from year to year.

Just stop testing. It's ridiculous. Push back (mock, even if only gently because you are a "nice" person averse to conflict). When required to test - point out how ridiculous it all is ... the people administering the tests need to be ashamed and made to feel foolish for being forced to go along with something that - in the fullness of time - has revealed itself to be a ridiculous farce.

well it will provide an excuse for another lockdown if the natives get restless because they're freezing cold and being manipulated by other countries. :)

How many of the "infected" were also vaxxed?

Friends of mine - a married couple - are artisans who participated in a traditional festival this summer.

Rules for vendors/artisans/performers/fair crews to attend and participate as well as public attendance included proof of full vaccination. After the festival the word was huge numbers of people who participated in the fair came down with covid after the 3 day weekend. (this was the scuttlebutt amongst fair people .. no one knows how many of the public may have become ... "INFECTED" !!!)

This included my friends' family and crew who attended.

The couple themselves did not get sick after the fair. however, they - being fully vaxxed - had gotten sick - allegedly with covid - a month prior to the fair.

I on the other hand, a senior, who lives on their property and share their bathroom, work for them in studio and am exposed to them every day did not get sick. As a precaution, I ate raw garlic and took a dose of actual feed store "horse paste" each day. Neigh Neigh!

I remain to this day unvaxxed and healthy.
