Your reports about containment across the world turned out to be a popular feature. I also enjoyed them, and I promise to bring them back soon. In the meantime, while I’m working on a longer piece that’ll probably take a few more days, I thought I’d solicit your reports on a different subject, which is perhaps even more crucial:
Some of you spotted containment and the mass vaccination campaign for the sham that it was from the very beginning. But I and many others started out among the true believers, and had to be dissuaded by events.
What or who convinced you that Corona containment (and/or mass vaccination) was bad? What inconsistencies, lies, or policy boondoggles put you on the right track? What kind of insights can you provide as to your state of mind before you realised the truth?
If you want to tell your story, please leave it in comments, or write to me at containment@tutanota.com, with instructions on how to credit you. I’ll compile the most informative and representative reports in a long post tomorrow evening, aiming for broad geographic representation and diversity of perspectives. I apologise in advance that I won’t be able to include everyone.
The fact that the George Floyd/BLM riots and looting were ok and encouraged from a public health perspective during a “pandemic” but anything Trump did was a superspreader event. In general, nothing made sense.
I've said this before, but part of my philosophical rule-of-thumb is that I immediately become skeptical of a narrative that I'm not allowed to question. Truth does not fear investigation. Asking legitimate questions about lockdowns in general was not met with a good faith effort to discover the truth. It was met with harassment, censorship, doxxing, intimidation, etc. etc. This has gone to apply to everything about the official narrative.
