Embarassing, because there's such a one in the village I live in, but in my defence she is more apolitical than anything. I once came upon her while walking the dogs up on the slopes towards the fens and bogs, and asked what she was looking for (she was hobbling along hunched over).
"Toadstools" she replied, "but I don't know what they look like".
After which a bried chat followed where I inquired why she wanted to find toadstools, and she explained that some homeopathic theosophist she was following on Facebook had given her a recipe for a massage-oil made from toadstool and sundry other ingredients.
I managed to talk her out of it, by explaining that:
a) No two plants/mushrooms have the same concentration of the active substances and so dosage will be guesswork
b) We have several kinds of toadstools, two of which are lethal even in microscopic doses and their poison can penetrate the skin
c) She was at the time breast feeding and the poison could possibly be trasferred via the milk
Currently, she's been raving about carrots being poisonous because they are related to mandrake (the plant, not the magician).
Ironically, if her advisor were in fact homeopathic, it wouldn't matter how concentrated the poison in the toadstools was, because when she got done diluting them to his recipe there wouldn't be anything left but water anyway.
The German Greens as a blend of many different ideas was true in the 90ies. But then there was a mighty power struggle, and the "Realpolitik" Greens won and purged the party from all the idealists.
The Greens are now very established, entrenched in the party system, leading voice of the official culture. E.g. survey show that in the German broadcast system 90% or so vote Green.
A big part of the Deep State is Green.
That sets the German Green party apart from other country's Green parties.
Don't forget the Greens were in the government before Merz, and with some little shift in voters, they would be today again. And will have a big chance to be in the government the next time.
Also: the two big parties SPD and CDU are extemely friendly with the Greens, and let them dictate many of their politics.

The Greens has caused untold damage here, due to the Moderates (neoliberal-globalist) buying their votes when in power, and the Socialist Democrats (globalist-corporatist) doing the same, for some 30 years.
About 85% of state media journalists vote either Communist, Socialist or Green, with Green making up the largest portion. And the majority of our media adores the Greens and give them highly preferential treatment in print and broadcasting.
Even illegal groups such as Xtinction Rebellion and Greta's gang are adulated and admired by our media.
As I said, Swedish Green party was initially modelled on the German Greens, so Sweden/Germany are on this issue almost entirely interchangable.

If my knowledge of political divisions is correct, Saxony is comparable to any of our U.S. State Legislatures—and if you want to ”crazy”, our State of Virginia has just passed a law into effect banning the sale of semiautomatic firearms. From my reading of this, if all the other parties had thought quickly enough, they’d have stood up as well, then they could save face, claiming the bill would have passed anyway, so it did not pass only with AfD support.
