I know you don't go in for tin-foil hat theories, eugyppius, but my mantra has always been "when what you are being told does not make sense, you are being lied to."

So here goes: Biden is already dead. He has not been seen since last Wednesday. The signature on yesterday's letter does not even come close to matching those on the last 5 executive orders he signed. The are letting the dust settle from yesterday's blockbuster news--announced ON TWITTER(!)--until they announce the sad development of his untimely passing due to COVID.

Conveniently, the Ds can force unity by urging the warring factions to honor Biden's final wish that Harris succeed him on the ballot. Her stature as "president" adds to her inevitability as the D nominee.

Watch for it. I'll apologize later if incorrect.

EDIT: For those curious about the signature on yesterday's letter, have a look for yourselves and draw your own conclusions. At least 4 major differences to prior specimens: https://x.com/chieftrumpster/status/1815204611487072474

UPDATE: Well, what do you know? The old man is still with us. But with all the credible chatter about a medical emergency last Wednesday in Vegas, and the two executive orders DELEGATING presidential authority to the Secretaries of Treasury and State, two important questions now arise: (1) What have we not been told about the health of the president; and (2) WHO IS RUNNING THINGS?

This is literally the plot of an episode of The Thick of It (the fabulous satirical tv show about the British government).

The civil servants remove the elected leader by releasing to the press the information that he has resigned. He didn't, but it's too mortifying to admit that (as it means he has lost all authority, so he'd be cooked if he did). They outplayed him, so he just goes ahead with it, and they succeeded in removing him with minimal fuss.

If he died of Covid that would be embarrassing for vaccine cultists. If nothing else, the shots and boosters are supposed to protect against ... death.

And Biden, reportedly, has gotten many shots and boosters.

I don't see how they can say Covid got him without admitting the shots are a sham.

Expand full comment
Transcriber B's avatar

I doubt that Biden would have died of (merely) covid and so quickly. It seems the intravenously administered run-death-is-near (remdesivir) takes a few days. (I'm being sarcastic sort-of-but-not-really. Just spent the last couple of hours working on transcribing murder-by-remdesivir testimonies.)

As for the vaccine culitsts— that's an apt term to describe most of Biden's supporters up until these last days— if they're not embarrassed already, so many of them having taken multiple shots and still coming down with covid-- (not to mention, despite the censorship, all the horrors trickling out about jab deaths, jab injuries, and fibrinaloid clots)-- I doubt there's hope for them now.

Bill, with all due respect, and you know I'm your big fan, you say: "I don't see how they can say Covid got him without admitting the shots are a sham" -- here's my answer: Yes, they can say that, easy peasy, just like they've said a whole wagon-load of kerazy things totally untethered to reality. They clearly don't give a flea's eyelash if what they say makes a lick of sense; it just has to be repeated with a big dollop of Dudley Do-right-esque feeeeeling.

Expand full comment
Bill Rice, Jr.'s avatar

After I posted this I thought to myself, "Well, they probably can spin this as proof that the vaccines work." Or they'll try to do this. They'd definitely use it as an opportunity to promote more booster shots.

If he did die from Covid, I'm sure the family would go out of their way to thank Pfizer for the life-saving vaccines. The spin would probably be that his previous shots kept him around a couple more years. They gave him enough time to make sure Ukraine got a couple hundred billion more dollars.

Now they have a problem, which they hope to solve by claiming he died sometime in the near future. They've calculated that his death is less of a problem for them than his remaining the candidate.

The disorder and opportunism I am perversely enjoying, because I enjoy seeing just desserts served to this claque of pathological liars, who now struggle with even the basics of their trade. With every turn of the ratchet they appear absurder and more incompetent, and we’ve a ways to go yet. The forced and hysteric front of triumphalism put up by the miserable faithful, trying to reinterpret every misstep as a sign of strength feels exactly like how the news from the front in Ukraine gets interpreted by them on social media. Of course this is also very dangerous but so it goes.

As much as I want to relish the apparent pandemonium, I am concerned about the lengths that the Dems would go to if backed into a corner. I believe they have no compunction to incite all manor of social unrest, up to and including assassination attempts (did it), acts of war, and domestic terrorism.

We'll have to see the mood at the DNC convention. I think it will be forced excitement with fake smiles plastered on their faces, but the mood will not be what they will try to convey.

Well, as an enthusiastic crafter of narratives based on very little factual information, here goes:

Jill and Hunter refused all blandishments. But on this crucial weekend Hunter was in California and the screws were put to Jill that the Hur tapes were going to leak forthwith and vaporize whatever tatters of dignity Biden was already unretaining. Jill said she would not allow Kamala to become interim President via a resignation, and that the initial letter would not mention her. She was also adamant that no leaks could be allowed until the moment of the letter's release.

Joe's rage--well documented now via anonymous tribble drabbles from staffers--was of course a serious issue during these hours where he himself was refusing to accept orders to step aside and he is of course frail and with a history of repaired aneurisms. He was administered sedatives which calmed him. Jill guided his hand as he signed.

He had no role in crafting the actual text of the letter. This comports of course with him having little role in anything. But Jill was able to extract from him, in the presence of witnesses, sufficient verbal assent to this process. Not many words, of course, were necessary.

As I said in another comment, the government seems to have forced upon us the new national pastime of enthusiastically crafting narratives based on very little factual information.

Every new bit of supposed information that drips out becomes fodder for mentally composing plots for mystery/thriller novels.

The only downside is, a lot of it seems even too unbelievable for a fiction work.

Au contraire. It may seem too unbelievable for fiction, but entirely believable in the context of our time. I'm constantly amazed and appalled by where we find ourselves.

Time to invoke Poe's Law: an adage of Internet culture which says that, without a clear indicator of the author's intent, any parodic or sarcastic expression of extreme views can be mistaken by some readers for a sincere expression of those views.

I agree about the letter. He is incapable of crafting a letter like that. And I think someone else signed it: guiding another person’s hand produces an uncertain looking signature.

What it smells like to me is pure panic and disarray. Every option they have are failing options. We should demand to hear from Biden himself. If he’s alive, he may not even be aware of what’s happened. Just like these nihilists, eat their own, kick a dog while he’s down, tasty morsels of a corpse with a malfunctioning chip? These Dumbass Dems are rotten to the core.

It is quite obvious, isn't it? so easy - first they try to eliminate the competition, and when that fails, they take out the puppet. How long has Zients been in charge? probably all of the time. It was already known that Biden was dementing when he ran, it was known since 2012. He should have retired then. And when it got quite obvious, a few years ago, the top of the Dems should have urged him to step down. But then Kamala would have been president. Would that have been any better? Probably even worse!

I would not rule out the possibility that the next time we see Biden (if we ever do) he may repudiate his refusal of the nomination. It is strange indeed. Far from clear there was an informed consent here or even that it was Biden who sent these messages. But this a party act not a constitutional one, so only the DNC can determine whether it's correct. Fat chance they will look below the surface.
