Dare we hope for a three-for-three rebound streak? Fauci, Biden, Lauterbach?

Though vaguely ill with a stomach bug, I am compelled to report my boundless amusement over the Covid infection of Karl Lauterbach. This sad, funny little man has spent months screeching that Germans only have two choices – a fourth dose of the mRNA exlixir or Omicron infection –, and yet despite his own quadruple vaccination he has for joy contracted Omicron. He reports that this happened “despite great caution” and that he is taking Paxlovid “to avoid complications.” Both his fourth jab and his Paxlovid course are contrary to all medical recommendations.

Meanwhile, the draft pandemic legislation proposed by Lauterbach and FDP Justice Minister Marco Buschmann appears to be going down in flames, as liberal politicians including Wolfgang Kubicki (vice chairman of the FDP) declare their dissent, following massive uproar over the laughable masking rules.
